Eh. The whole myth about fully discharging batts is kind of misleading. Best practice is drain to 20% and re charge. Lithium Ion batteries benefit from being "topped off" constantly, your battery will "break in" regardless. I prefer to swap my batteries at 3.7v and recharge to keep em topped off, usually take em off charger at 4.15 rather than 4.19v to not fully charge either. Extends the life.

Charge it when you get it, then use it normally. It will "break in" over a couple of charge/discharge cycles. Do not discharge it fully. Generally, li-ion only tolerate being discharged down to 2.5V. It is best to charge when they are depleted to around 3.2V (or even higher) to preserve cycle life. I usually charge the cells I use in my mech around 3.5V.

Also,li-ions do not have a memory effect, so no worries about topping off the charge whenever. It is somewhat beneficial to the cell (under certain circumstances).

The break in on a new li-ion is just dropping the internal resistance to proper levels and allowing it to reach its full rated charge capacity. This happens after a few usage cycles all by itself.
