I just received my VK. I had ordered different levels of nic because I learned here that matching your analog nic level to cart nic level is difficult.

My history/analog info: I smoke(d) Marlboro Ultra Light 100's, at least 1 pack/day, "chain smoking" style. I would go outside, read my book (big reader) while smoking my cigs - yes cigs...I would smoke several in a row until I thought I'd had enough or at a stopping point in my book. I have never measured, though, how much of my cigs got smoked as opposed to just burned.

Anyway, I have tried 3 different carts today. Break #1 Kamel 18mg, Break #2 Mint 18mg, Break #3 Cappuccino 11mg. (I did not smoke the whole cart btw) Max # of drags off each: 5. Let me tell you something....dizzy dizzy dizzy. That's why I finally tried the 11mg cart. LOL and NOT at the same time! If your smoking habit matches mine heads up! hehehehe Based off some others' descriptions of their habits, I chose these levels plus some 24mg's. I'm not sure I'm going to be able to use these - which just makes me madder than a hatter right now. Kidding, somewhat. I thought I was a heavy smoker (everyone kept telling me I was - not in forum, just friends/relatives) but maybe I wasn't as "heavy" as I thought. Just thought I would share.

I'm not certain a pack a day is heavy, coming from someone who was on 3 a day. Since you smoked ultra lights I think you probably started to high on the NIC. How did the 11mg hold up against the 18s?

You might need to try an 8mg. Just cause you smoke all your analogs at one time doesn't make you a heavy smoker :D. You probably need the NIC but ultra lights are ultra light so the individual drags don't do much. Chain vape an 8mg and you'll find out.

I was a 2+ a day smoker and 18mg is way to much for me. It really makes me feel loopy. So I ordered 8mg. I figure I'm better off starting low and working up if needed. I even ordered some zero nic for the times I just need the action and not the nic. Which I think is about 75% of my habit. Since I can go 3+ hours before a craving truly hits home.

Here's my thought on this:

One analog cigarette contains about 1mg of nicotine (more or less depending on strength -- ultralight, light, etc.). So a pack of cigs contains about 20mg of nicotine. I think most people (me included at first) compare one cartridge to one pack, and therefore pick the strength of the carts based on this. I started with 24mg, because I smoked 1 - 1 1/2 packs-a-day. As most find, a cart equals about 1/2 pack, and, especially when first starting to vape, you'll go through 2, 3, maybe even 4 carts per day! Now you're nic intake has gone from 20 to 30mg per day to a whopping 48mg (based on 2 carts) to 96mg (based on 4 carts)!!!

Let me qualify all this by saying I'm not a scientist or anything, so my thought process could be way off. But it makes sense to me!

The King is so good, cause, I used to smoke 5 or so packs a day, full strength, and when I did not get the right hit, I tore the filter off ,my Kools. Listen, do not worry, order some of the strength you need, let me know in comments section, how many your gonna send back(unused only) and I will make sure your done taken care of Smilin style:D

Leeshor: "How did the 11mg hold up against the 18s?" Not much better. Still dizzy, so I'm just vaping way less times. Thx for the advice

By the by, my boyfriend was watching me take the 1st drag of 18mg and started laughing. He said, "Your eyes literally crossed!"

Allestaria: Thx for the advice of 0mg ones.

zztommis: Sounds like that might be correct too.

SMILIN/Steve: The "madder than a hatter" comment was directed at myself not your company. It is not YOUR fault I ordered the wrong merchandise. But, I appreciate your offer/concern for customer satisfaction greatly. I will probably have to take you up on it and I swear I'll get the hang of this...eventually (kidding) soon.

I hope you do not put the returned carts up for resale after someone else has had them

These are consumables, we put them in our mouth and inhale into our lungs and I want them as pure as possible from the manufacturer, in fact I think the boxes should have a seal on both ends. I don't know why you would even offer to take them back

Steve you are a great guy and want to make everyone Smilin, that is why they are here but....there is a limit and people do have to take responsibility for their purchases and decisions

On my last order I ordered coconut 24mg someone on your end made a mistake and sent me 36mg, they were loose (unboxed) and I didn't like that either made me wonder why and where the box went, but I wouldn't think of returning them...I just mark the loss up to the cost of buying online and that is my responsibility

However I can't be confident in my future purchases if I have to wonder where each cart has been before I got it

I guess you missed the part (that you quoted) where he said "unused".

I couldn't care less if I get an unused cart that someone had. You do realize that things are returned all the time to grocery stores and put right back on the shelf, right? And that the vendors who put those 20 oz sodas and waters in the coolers have touched the lower ring where the cap sits.......that touches your mouth when you drink?

I have NO experience with V4L yet (just ordered today for the first time), but it's surprising that someone would have a negative reaction to the wonderful customer service that Steve exhibited in this case.

These carts are unsealed and easily tampered with or added to, how would Steve or anyone know if they were in fact UNUSED ... I wish it was a perfect world mcl5000 but it isn't now is it? at the grocery store I can see what I am buying, online I have to trust my vendor to keep my best interests at heart

I DO have experience with V4L and it has been great so far I am just trying to ensure it stays that way

There is no negative reaction to Steve's customer service, it is great,I'm just pointing out something that he may not have had time to think about

and EWWW you don't rinse those sodas off before you drink them, you do realize they sit in warehouses and rats pee on the cans and lids don't you:lol:
Have a great day!

FYI

I would NOT use these for resale, but, for sampling in the bar, when people ask to try. Thinking about it now, you are right....sometimes, I just try too hard, too please:p

Steve:cool:

I have, in writing, on website, neither Cartomizers, nor Juice, are returnable. I should listen to MYSELF:shock:

Thanks Steve...I was getting concerned as Sher made vary valid points. I would not trust an "unused" cart unless I personally knew the person I was getting it from.

I have posted a trade request in another thread. Please refer to that post for information on trading VK carts with me.

I would NEVER dream of trying to return used merchandise. Frankly, that's just plain rude! (said to anyone thinking of doing that) and 8-o

I want to, again, thank Steve for the great customer service thought.

I don't have a problem trading with someone who has opened a cart box. I don't mind getting lose carts.
It all comes down to trusting your supplier. I have a lot of trust in Steve. And I haven't even purchased my kit yet. But I can tell he would not send out a used cart. There is easy ways to tell if a cart has been used.

Lose carts wouldn't bother me. Its a way to give out samples to customers. Just because the package is sealed. Doesn't mean it came that way =). You just have to trust the people you buy from.
