I was a 50 year smoker,went to cig a likes 3 years ago,5 months ago finally isticks and aspire mini's..This morning I got my kanger sub ohm mini..I've gone thru about 4 ml already,have a headache and a nic buzz using just .5 nic level..It is what they say it is...At first I thought this is too much for my old abused lungs but am learning to take easy "combo" lung and mouth hits..I replaced the drip tip with a kanger mega tip I had and using one air hole...Now using 17 watts with the .5 coil and 21 watts with the 1.2 coil..At first I could not get the flavor I did with the aspire mini's with the mouth to lungs but now the sub is better,just a bit...I see very little change with the 1.2 ohm coil...Of course the vapor cloud is like an opium den in here...I've never used a true sub or dripper but this is unreal..The more I use it the better it gets...I can't do the huge lung hits you see on U tube but I love this thing...vaping Vermillion River .5 Kentucky Maple right now,tastes very good,also used some V.R. Blend #7 and Kentucky Premium blend,all were great...I'm a happy ole camper,Bob

Awesome I love mine too, biggest mistake I made though was putting a new juice that I had never tried in the subtank mini the first time I got it and used it, and the juice was gross, and no matter what I do I cant get the taste of this juice out. I will search more on here about a way to really deep clean this thing because now I have mainly been sticking to my Atlantis setup with the CF battery and I really loved the Subtank mini just need to get horrible taste out so I can return to using it as it is an awesome tank.
I had that happen with a juice that had a soapy perfume flavor with a mini aspire,I cleaned everything,not the coil,with hot water then sat the coil in a bit of good blended boubon overnight It worked for me!! Took about 5 vapes to get the juice flavor but it worked..
cool part about the subtanks is they come completely apart. when I swap juice, I wash everything in hot water, and then give everything a isopropyl alcohol bath for 30min to a hour. No juice residue ^^
Coils are a bit weirder, but then again, I wash em with hot water, iso bath over night, dry for 24 hrs, then vape. very little to no flavor remains

Loving my mini! Bought it, the atlantis and an arctic tank all at once. Cant really decide between subtank mini and the atlantis but at higher watts the arctic tank definetely delivers more flavor when the coils can keep up.
I've basically been only using max VG juice and have no issues with the atlantis and subtank but the arctic tank .2 ohm coils don't seem to like the high VG so much. Have had same .5 coils in the others for over a week but have gone through two of the BDTC .2 arctic tank coils in like 4 days. Just cant seem to keep up the wicking with max VG which suprised me as it has these massive holes for wicking.
Have been reading these forums for months and really just joined to put this info out here and see what others' experiences were with it.

Love the Subtank Mini! I had to go down from 6mg to 3 MG, though ... I disassemble the tank and soak the pieces in vodka for a couple of hours. Rinse, dry, and all is well with the world!

I got a nicotine buzz the first weekend I had it as the .5 guzzled juice. Best vape Ive ever had though.
The ST Mini is my favorite but they're all pretty darn good. The Kanger coils do have a break in period but after a short period of time they vape really good. I did order a pack of all cotton coils for my Atlantis and can't wait to try them.

I just got a subtank mini this week, and I love it. How long is the break-in period for the coils? I am using the .5, and at first I had to keep it around 19w, anything higher had zero flavor. But now, suddenly, 25w is the sweet spot, and....WOW. I never knew ejuice could taste this good!
