So I got tired of waiting on my kit, the cigalikes were choking me to death (cheap china generics). Decided I was heading to the closest B&M store and buying something! Here's what I got:

1000mah batt, Davide Anyvape Mini 3ml Glassomizer w/xtra head, 2 extra tips because I didn't think I'd like the chrome in my mouth, a passthrough, usb and wall charger adapter and 4 bottles of juice.

Vaped the 40 miles home and off and on all night. Haven't wanted an analog at all! That really shocks me, but I'm happy as H***! Every once in a while, I'll reach for a smoke that isn't there, just out of habit, so I pick up the passthru. It's like my brain hasn't figured out I'm not smoking.

At this moment in time, I couldn't be happier. And I was lucky enough to get a menthol/tobacco juice that I love first time! How great is that? Seems that is a tough one for former menthol smokers, I really lucked out.

Still can't wait to get my kit and all the accessories I ordered, but I feel confident that I can wait now and do so comfortably.

Want to thank everyone that has supplied so much info and answered so many questions on the Noob board for me, but it won't let me start a new post, guess it figures I'm past that.:D

Just HAD to tell someone I haven't had a smoke in 10 hrs! Been a 2PAD smoker for 40+ yrs. I'm a happy camper!

Rather than reply to each of you, let me send you all a big thank you! Yeah, I'm so excited!

I do know how weird it feels to quit, especially cold turkey, which I did for 6 months, years ago. About every 30 mins or so, I'd feel like I was forgetting something....I was! Forgetting to smoke! Kinda like reaching for smokes that aren't there, but worse.:D This went on all day, every day, for the whole 6 months.

By this time, now 11 hrs, I would have been grinding my teeth and biting peoples heads off! I feel fine. Guessing my nic level is good, I'm not antsy, don't feel just plain ...... off. I feel completely normal, as though I have been sitting here smoking like I always did.

I can't explain how just completely dumbfounded and awestruck I am, about how NORMAL I feel. I had terrible withdrawals every time I tried to quit, no matter cold turkey or patches, gum, etc. And it started within a couple hrs of not having a smoke being a 2PAD'er.

So here I sit with my passthru just feeling wonderful!

Thank you all again! Much Love!

Congratulations and have fun!

Congrats, I was pretty much a 1 PAD smoker for about 5 years, with the occasional cold turkey quit. It's been a month and I've not had a single urge despite not having tossed a half pack of cigarettes that I still had when I bought a cig-a-like. That ecig really saved me, but now I've moved on to bigger and better things, like my beautiful itaste MVP. Good luck with each passing day! :)

Thank you! Being a 2PAD smoker for 40+years, I'm amazed at how good I feel. I only managed to quit for any length of time, 3 times in that 40+ and have kicked my own ... for starting again, every time. With as smoothly as today has been, I don't see that happening again.:toast:

Congrats. Even when you run into problems, keep vaping. Buy a back up device, something dependable. Dripping atty's are great for when all else fails. Your clearos will leak, gurgle or just crap out. Get a dripping atty (not necessarily an rba) for when the .... hits the fan and you just need a good vape.

Quitting cigarettes was easy for me. After 19 years (14 - 33) I had just had enough. I had no desire to smoke anymore, but I was still a nic addict. A dependable system made me stop having anxiety and allowed me to not care about quitting cigarettes.

Godspeed, my friend.

See? That's something I'd like to learn about-dripping, just haven't gotten to there in my info gathering yet. I understand it's nice when you want to try a new flavor or just want to vape a smaller amount/time, rather than a fill up.

At the moment, I just have the rig I got today, but have a double set and a bunch of parts and accessories coming. I just couldn't wait for it.

Dripping attys are just called "atomizers" on vendor sites. They're cheap. You just drip a few drops of juice into the atty and take a few vapes and repeat. They give a nice warm vape full of flavor. I used to keep them around for the times when I'd go out drinking and really want a cigarette. You need a drip tip with them, but honestly, you don't even need that. Just drip and vape.
