1st month Today !

Ok, today (Sat) is exactly 4 weeks since Ive smoked an analog
I got my 1st kit (dse-901) from Rob @ GoodProphets and its been working out great. I have not suffered from any kind of withdrawals whatsoever.
I wasnt sure how the social scene would play out but went to a friends party last week and had a blast ! I didnt miss analogs thats 4sure !

Things that helped my transition;
I knew I was ready for a change.
Weezzing @ night, coughing in the morning.
Reading articles about what cigarette tobacco does to the body.
$$ wasnt really an issue, but it is a factor.
Smoke-free work places, hotels, motels, No smoking signs everywhere ! (Hell, back in the day you could smoke anywhere!, Kroger, Sears, Banks, Malls..) Look around, analogs just arent excepted the way they once were.

I could probably sit here all night writing on this subject but the main point is E-cigs give me a great sensation and got me to quit something Ive been addicted for the past 30+ years !

Best of Luck to everyone on the forum and a special thanks to everyone that contributes. (Ive learned so much in a very short time)

Well done on your month! You might want to pass on any hard-learned tips to the newbies if you can think of any - I always say 'don't rush things' and 'don't have too high expectations' Tips are good.

Ty clumsygirl, I meant to write that I was just patting myself on the back. I Am proud, but I wasnt looking for praise, I just wanted to say what worked for me & why.
I see so many newbs (im a newb too) start vaping but then get fustrated with equipment or whatever and want to go right back to smoking analogs. Why ??

What made us/them think about e-cigs in the first place ? Was it the novelty, something new, or cool, or did we want to stop for a reason (healthier lifestyle, baby on the way, bf/gf..etc ?)

All the above played a roll in my success + e-cigs just tasted better (ok maybe not the throat hit) but once you find that perfect combo (juice/e-cig) its amazing !

Writing this wasnt easy for me as I dont write very well so please excuse all the defects in anything you read from me, just try to see the big picture. Thx all, Dubs

I started vaping cause I was so ...... at the price increase of analogs.

I still use analogs some, but less than half what I used to.

Am thinking of making the transition 100% to vaping.

I had to go back to analogs for a week, I ran out of the ONE juice I liked. I just got some more in . After running out I did 5 orders for samples to try. The juice flavor plays such a huge part, most of the cig flavors are nasty and the fruit ones are perfume tasting. Congrats on your journey, you should be proud.

Wish- when I was quitting I had an excuse to go back to analogs for a week, but really- it’s just a choice maybe you should Goggle "How not to go back to Analogs" Right.... Cheers mate

Been vaping for a couple of months, but still have not found the perfect combo. I smoked for something like 40 years and was up to 2 packs a day of Winston Lights RYO. Nearly every single time I vape, the first hit nails me with coughing and I put it down, so still doing the analogs.

Hubby has tried every combination he can think of with no success.

Congrats, Dubs, hopefully some day I can say I've done it!
