Pack and a half a day smoker here.. switched to vaping about 4 days ago.
My girlfriend switched over at the same time.
We got two kits, a joye ego and a joye 510 for going out.
Both of those are impressive little vaporizers.
The world of e-cigs is way more complicated than I would've thought. I started out
doing google searches and finding brands like safecig and greensmoke. Almost pulled
the trigger on either one of those, then I started digging a bit deeper and found this
site. THANK YOU ALL!!! You saved me from making a potentially bad first purchase.
I haven't tried the greensmokes or anything like them, but from what I read here, my
money was better spent with the joye 510 and the ego. Thanks again!
So... I still smoke a few analog cigs a day. Don't know why really.. but I still kind of like
them. I think after about a week I'll have replaced them with vaping entirely. I think I'm
still addicted to the plethora of poisons they put in real cigs though.
With both the 510 and the ego I switched immediately to cartomizers instead of the
atomizer/cartridge included with the started kit. Can't say anything bad about the latter
since I never actually tried them, but the cartomizers are great. Super easy to refill and
produce excellent vapor and flavor.
Anyway... I can see why so many people are into this. I plan to be an active "vaper" and
member of this forum.
