1st time filling up a mega cartomizer.. Y IS IT LEAKING RIGHT THROUGH?!

Hi again,
I am in urgent need of someones help.
I am trying to fill up my recently bought cartomizer for the first time.
They havent sent the syringe but hey have sent the small end bit. I have just watched a couple of how to vids on youtube but it seems that my ejuice is just leaking all the way through and coming out the other end.
What am I doing wrong!?

OK I think Im gonna go and buy a syringe..? Looks like thats what I need..?
And I think I have to fill the cartomizer the atty end!?

If your cartos came with a rubber condom on the ends of them use the condom fill method, fill the condom and push the threaded end down into the filled condom so the liquid fill the carto, you also can hold the carto on a 45 degree angle and drip into the filler from the top, just drip 2 drops at a time and watch it soak into the filler until it is full.

If you're drip filling, only drip on the filler material.

BTW, when I first fill a new carto, I only use the condom method to insure filler saturation.

Sounds to me like you're dripping down the center tube. You want to drip down the side. A syringe won't help you unless it's one of the joyetech cartos or a ce2. If it's a regular filler carto you want to drip down the side, not the middle.

Yeah, I think Ive been doing it straight down the middle. I wish I'd have started off with the clear ones not the black so then I would see what I'm doing..!

I watched the condom method on youtube, seems pretty easy and a good way to do it but I didn't get no rubber end thing with mine

I really need to change my atomiser coz its overheating now every time I use it, I think Ive had it in there for 2 long!
Really need to get the nack of this coz today is my 6th consecutive day without cigarettes and I dont want anythng to mess it up!

Yes you need a syringe for those ones. There should be 2 holes around the edge of the ring about 1/3rd the way down the side. Just make sure you insert the needle there and fill. Do not pour juice down the middle! The XL takes 1.5ml I think. Remember to take the rubber cap and the inside O ring out first. Totally Wicked also has a refill kit if your looking for a syringe.

Correct, the center hole is the air tube which goes all the way through the carto. Look for the very tiny holes (2 of them) and insert a syringe in them.

What he said: and the ONLY way that you can fill these without a syringe is if you can remove the silicone inner cap, and drip down the side. I only do this when I clean them. Every other time, I fill a syringe, stick it in one of the side holes, and fill it just below the cup.

To be perfectly honest, when it comes to the ce2/clearomizer type, I actually prefer the metal (stainless) completely opaque versions. You can tell when they're full when the fill hole opposite the one you're using stops bubbling and a little bit of liquid comes out. Since yours are clear you can see when its full.
