So, I love my reo grand lp, that's no secret, and I have never really enjoyed mech mods that run off 18500 or less, but that mini 2.1 is quite tantalizing...
Battery life of let's say a 18650 grand running a 1ohm coil, and the same 1ohm on an 18500 mini, how do they compare? I'm aware of the 3ml bottle, but this would be a "night out for 4 hrs" type of device. I'm cool with carrying a spare battery or two, but no more than that.
Also, if anyone wants to toss up some side by side comparison photos, I'd really appreciate it. The more the better. ( I've seen some, but I love reo pics!)
Thanks!

Couple of things...

You can get a rough approximation of the bat charge life difference by comparing the MaH's of your favorite 18650 with a 18500 (or 490). For example, I run AW 18650 1600 MaH's and AW 18490 1100 MaH's and that ratio (1600 /1100, or about 1.5x as long for the 18650) pretty much holds true for my vape style.

You can also get some high capacitance 18500's that will match or beat the AW 18650's that I run.

Also, you shouldn't run into problems with a >1.0 ohm setup, but do watch the amp rating on any bat you run (the AW 18490's I mention are good to 16+ amps).

As a side note, the mini's are great little things - very easy in the pocket and discrete in public. It's also easy to carry an extra 3 ml bottle in case you run out of juice, or you could look at the square after-market bottles that fit the mini and hold more.

I don't have the 2.1 but do have both 18650 and 18450 woddvilles A mini would work great for a night out and if you were to be chain vaping a spare battery is probably all you'd need or just carry two minis

Not quite the photo you looking for :p

I think the 18500 batts last a long time. A 4 hour evening out shouldn't be a problem. But no matter how sure I am I always carry a small back-up mod and one battery and juice.

If you're wondering whether or not you'll fall in love with a Mini (2.1) wonder no more. :) Those who get one are usually surprised by how small they are.

Here's a pic of my brand new ones, a black Anodized LP Reo Grand with an SL anodized door and my Hammer Tone LP Reo Mini (2.1). They both have the LP RM2 RBA on them.
