Very nice surprise Amy. However, the last time I ordered from you the turnaround and shipping time was fantastic (7 days for one order, 9 for the other) and although I was worried about customs, it went through without a hitch. Will this shipping method be as painless? It's an excellent gift, but will it be just as fast as the previous shipping method? BTW, I am planning to place a rather large order today or tomorrow. If this shipping price and delivery method work as well as previously I doubt I'll be using American vendors for any hardware I need.

Ah, thank you. I guess the point is moot for me today because the order is over 250, but it's nice to know that the shipping will be cheaper on the orders I can wait for.

I am very sorry that EMS can not reach Nether Iceland now. so we have to send your order via China airmail. :)

Well it does depend very much on the destination: To Germany it's like a week or two, EMS is barely faster. But it is a lot more expensive, and their German partner often gives parcels to customs to check them and demands a fee for handling this, and if you don't pay, it goes back.
No, that's not legal, but they still do it occasionally. You can of course sue them, but most people don't bother and just don't order via EMS.

So I'm very happy about this.

Thank u for your information on your end.

I wondered if you use china airmail, whether China airmail partner in Germany does not send your order to customs ?

Customs still pick out parcels occasionally, but it's a lot less, and handling is free. I just have to get to the other end of town, unwrap it and show them it's nothing illegal in there and of course pay dutys if the content was over 22 Euros, but that's why German orders tend to be around 21.50 Euros :D

Although I have to say, I've been unlucky with Health Cabin. 2 out of 3 orders I had to pick up, the only two orders I ever had to pick up. I still hope it was merely accidental, and Health Cabin isn't flagged anyhow as "possibly contains nic". (Which I can buy perfectly legally in Germany or the EU, too :O)

Glad to hear that. we can declare your order less than 22 Euros if your order is over 22 Euros, if it helps. :)

Not much - you have to print out the bill and bring it to customs. And AFAIK they can also ask for proof of payment, although they rarely ever do that.

But maybe, like DX has, an option to send parcels with an absolutely neutral sender might help. Just in case "Health Cabin" got flagged indeed, as DX is. (Not because of nic in their case. That has more to do with Nokla mobile phones and the like.)
