i am running a very simple setup: i have an ego-C battery and an ego-T (not the twist) with a kanger evod @ 2.5ohms.

i keep getting this weird burnt taste... i've tried switching juice and it still produces the same nasty taste.. any idea what my problem might be? are the batteries i am using not a good choice for a kanger evod @ 2.5ohms?

Try washing out the head. It might be a burnt head, or might be burnt residue on the wicks. Twist out the head insert, let it soak in hot water for an hour or so, dry it, and try again.

Good Luck!!! One of the great things about EVODs is that the heads are so cheap that if you do get a bad one, you can replace it.

With high ohms and low voltage, you aren't getting it too hot. It is probably having trouble wicking. Release some pressure from the tank by unscrewing it a little. Air bubbles will come out of the wick holes and float up to the top through your juice. I tend to leave the base a little loose from the tank. Seems to help. If it is wicking well, as you take draws from the tank, you will see air bubbles here and there float up to the top of your tank. Hope this help.

I have your setup exactly. On my EVODs I use a 1.8ohms coil with the ego c. 2.5 is too high for that battery. You can increase the volts on that battery, the color on the button you press to vape will become yellow. I forgot how to do it, and I never use it since you really can't control your voltage any way. It's not variable voltage. A 1.8ohms coil will solve your problem.
