2 months smoke free and loving it!

Hi. I started vaping 2 months ago and I've been smoke free since. I started with an ego c twist clone and I broke that thing. It wouldn't charge. Good thing the store I bought it from (vapor bombz) gladly gave me a refund for it which I used to buy new liquids. I now use a ss smoktech telescope and it works really well. I use it with my rebuildables and I can say I'm really hooked. I now have 2 rebuildables. A griffin (did clone), and an AGA-T. They both work great and I'm now planning to buy a rainbow v3 for dripping to be able to test new liquids easily. I'm also planning to buy a provari mini for Christmas.

Thanks! I thought that I'd be able to save a lot from switching from smoking to vaping but I guess I was wrong. Oh well. At least it's healthier and a lot more fun to tinker with.

Yeah! I was really tempted to get one for a while now. But my friend told me that I should start with a mechanical mod first if I wanted to try rebuildables. But Christmas should be the right time for it.

Actually, if your looking into rebuildable atty's, your prob better off with a Provari because it has built-in short circuit/low ohms protection where mech mods do not...just safer. The Provari also has a very nice atty resistance reader built in which is also handy for checking DIY coils.

I bought a multi meter to check the ohms of the atty. I was afraid that I might short the provari because I had no experience with rebuildables before. I didn't want to risk an expensive mod just for tinkering my first rebuildable. I just watched some videos and followed what they said and it eventually went well. I was also kinda iffy with the provari's menu system. But it wasn't too hard when I tried it from my friend's device.

Hey darkcross, it's been just over a year for me vaping and I DID start saving money about 10 months into it. You find when you first start out, you are buying everything; especially different flavors. My buying has tapered off, but of course, I do still buy!

I don't think I'll be able to save a lot from vaping. But now, it's becoming more of a hobby than an addiction. Collecting stuff and tinkering new builds. All is well. Maybe I'll be able to save after getting the stuff I'm drooling about. Haha.

Totally agree and you will taper, but if yu don't, that's alright too!

I agree it is a HOBBY! That is how I am looking at it. There is an somewhat expensive learning curve, been analog free for 18 days after smoking for over 25 years and have spent more in this past month than I would have ever smoking analogs but I feel fantastic and in the long run I know it will be worth every penny spent. BIG HAPPY VAPING SMILE ON MY FACE!

Yeah. And the problem is (I don't even consider it as a problem), getting new stuff and pimping up your PV is a lot more addicting than nicotine: Seriously, waiting for stuff to arrive in the mail is driving me crazy! Nowadays, I keep on checking the mailbox every hour for new stuff. But it's a lot of fun.
