I bought a 510 kit that has a PCC 2 XL 510 manual batteries and 5 empty Kanger cartos . There was no mention of the resistance of the cartos and I was suprised to find that they are 2 ohms . I though I read on this forum not to use 2 ohm cartos on a 510 battery . The battery isn't getting hot and it seems to be ok . It may run the battery down faster but when I tried a 3 ohm carto it did not satisfy me like the 2 ohm cartos does . I am use to my provari and ego with booster or EMDCC . I think I will stick with the 2 ohm cartos just seeing what others think .

I don't think it's going to hurt you too much. My girlfriend used to use boge 2.0's on her XL 510 batts for a while as her daily vape. She still has that set and they still work. So if you are rotating with a provari and eGo I don't think you'll have much to worry about. But each battery is different so who knows.

If you're ok with the fact your vape time in between charges will be less and due to the higher current draw your battery likely won't last as long overall then it'll work. You just might have to replace batteries more often. It's not recommend to go below 2.5 ohms on the slim batteries and I'd recommend picking something like an Ego/Riva or similar for the slightly lower ohms although it's not recommend to go to low with those as well.

I wouldnt use 2.0ohm cartos on a slim ecig battery. It might work okay for awhile, but the constant stress on the battery will def kill it faster.

You also have to remember that a carto isnt always exactly the ohms that its stated to be. Normally their +/- .2ohm. Also, most cartos generally drop slightly in ohms after youve been using it for awhile. So if a 2.0ohm carto is actually running at around 1.8ohms, your prob going to fry a slim ecig. A 2.0ohm carto already puts a lot of stress on a slim ecig, and if it drops lower, you really risk frying the battery. Thats why I recommend using 3.0ohm cartos for a slim ecig. Then at least if it drops slightly, youll still be okay.
I wouldnt use LR cartos on a slim ecig, but if you are going to continue using them, I would at least use a multimeter and check EVERY one before you use it to make sure their at least the stated 2.0ohms. Also I would check them again every few days to make sure they havent dropped in ohms bc of use. If its any lower, do NOT keep using it. Youll be less likely to fry the battery that way.
If you dont have a multimeter you can get the one that madvapes sells on ebay for $3-4 bucks, and they give free shipping. It does come from China so it takes alittle longer to get to you, but it does work well and serves its purpose. Type in DT-830B multimeter in the ebay search and it will bring up a bunch of them for sale from different sellers. Look thru them and find the cheapest one. Madvapes sells it for $10+shipping. On ebay its alot cheaper. I found ones for about $3.50 but it doesnt come with a 9V battery. I dont have any 9V batteries at my house so I ordered the one for about $4.50 that comes with a 9V battery already in it. If you have a 9V already tho, then you can get one for under $4 bucks. Its def worth it

I am getting over 2 1/2 hours on the battery and it does not get very hot and I am a steady vapourer not quite chain vaping but close . They have only been charged once so not sure of the exact time they last . The batteries are fairly cheap so I don't mind testing this out . I have other ecigs so I won't be without one . The Kanger bottom coil cartos are good I can fill and not worry about flooding the centre tube it just does not seem to flood . Not sure why but the vendor had a video that said that and I tested it out and sure enough they don't seem to flood just dripping into them and not down the side of it .
