I'm trying to figure out if I need more air flow in my atty. I'm doing 5 wraps on a 2 mm screwdriver, 24awg, dual coil build. If I do quick pulls it tastes good but if I hold for 2 seconds it tastes burnt. Oh, I'm using cotton too. Before I go drilling bigger air holes I'm trying to figure out of its necessary. I'm not getting great vapor production either. So I'm thinking it could be wicking but the wick is still saturated after I burn my juice. I have 1/8 inch air hole on each side, right on the coils. Is this when I need to open it up more? Thanks for the help, tips, tricks, or anything you got

1/8" air holes should be more than enough air, to me it sounds like your wick isn't keeping up and is starving the coil then once it cools slightly the wick re-saturates with juice and looks like it couldn't have burnt even though it did. With cotton, there is a fine line to dance where too much cotton that is too tight inside the coil will burn at high heat. I run a .25 ohm dual coil dripper using cotton with one of my mods and I can take 7-10 second lung hits with it and never get any burnt taste. Especially at lower ohm builds with high wattage your wick is one of if not the most important thing to get 100% right.
