I have a Vamo V3 running Efest 2250 18650 IMRs... I just picked up one of the smok glass DCT tanks, with a 5 pack of 2.5 ohm dual coil cartos to go with it. I don't have any glass devices yet, and I wanted to try a tank, so I figured I'd give the dual coils a shot along with it.

Is that going to be a problem? I know that dual coils will drain the battery quicker than single coils... but I just read somewhere that a DC carto on a 18650 isn't going to work all that well and that I should run stacked 18350s if I am going to the DC route.

Is that true?

It will depend at what power setting you use for the coil. This video has some nice charts that explain it: Vamo Full Review with Charts - YouTube

Basically, a single battery starts to hit limitations at above 10W. If you're going to be vaping at power levels above that, you'll want to use stacked 18350's.

This usually only applies to dual coil setups. My favorite dual coil vape is 1.5ohms at 12W. A 2ohm DC might require 12-14W depending on your preference. It could be lower, in which case you're fine.
