Your first post likely says the problem - by 'put a few drops on it,' you mean you put drops onto the atomizer, with the batter connected?

auto batteries are *not* sealed, dripping with auto-batteries, is very easy for the liquid to get into the battery and kill the battery. For the M401, I'd *highly* suggest dipping vs dripping. You can try standing the battery only on end, and seeing if it'll drain out and take a charge, but it may be shot, if the LED lights up or not. Take the attys and do the same, wick end down on a paper towel for a while after blowing through them from the battery end, in case it's just a flooded atomizer.

Wait an hour or so, maybe longer on the batteries, if you see any liquid coming out of them, reassemble without 'drops' and see if you get anything after vaping on it a bit.

If not, get another battery to test your atties, it's sure sounding likely you flooded the atomizers or the batteries are toast.

Yeah their both getting hot.. I do not see how that is possible how the cotton can just disappear like that how in the world is that possible?? that is so stupid...

Shadow--It appears my Friend that the batteries got stuck on and melted the core in your cartridge. That being said, if the atomizers are still geting hot--they are not shutting down between drags as the batteries are stuck on. You need new batteries if they will not clear--It is my understanding that the 401 uses Microphone batteries so there is no wheel switch to try to clear-----Sun

Why in the world does the batterys have a microphone? because I found that out the first day I was working at a live band playing that my battery started to freak out is there any E cig that can handle a live band playing? like a 501 or a 901 or anything that does not have a mic? why in the world do a 401 have a mic? I dont see why a mic is needed?!

Shadow--the new batteries gave up emplying a membrane pressue switch and were redesigned to work on the sound and vibration of the draw of the cartridge to fire the switch--was it a good idea?--No--as they are way to sensitive. The only reason the fly wheel pressure switchs fail is the e-liguid getting stuck in them---so they redesigned them. IMO--get a MOD with a manual switch and batteries you can buy locally--it makes the e-cig experiance so much easier and trouble free--------Sun

The 510 has a manual switch available. Be careful with the 901s, some are pressure swtiches and some are mic or vibration activated. I can personally vouch for ruyan direct's and myvaporstore's being pressure switches and bestecigs being sound activated.

I agree with what Sun told you. Sorry for your trouble. I haven't had an atomizer or battery problem in 3 months. Just consistently good vaping, day in and day out ever since I got my Screwdriver. If you want to avoid the problems you are having, then as Sun mentioned, get a big battery, manual switch PV. The initial cost is a little more but when you compare that the SD batteries cost $2 and your 401 or 901 batteries cost $20, you really save money in the long run. The batteries last 7-8 hours and there is no worry about liquid getting in the battery compartment and gumming up the auto switch because there isn't one. And because you can heat the atomizer as much as you want, the throat hit is great and the extra heat helps keep the atomizer from getting gummed up with liquid. I would check out these three suppliers for your next PV:
