Welcome Santa , nothing wrong with the EGO clones , and usually cheaper to boot . Liberty Flights carry's the Riva , which is a clone , but just as good . You might also do a search for an E-Power , a battery type mod , similar in size to an EGO , around the same price , but the replacement cost for the batteries is 1/3 of an ego . Uses 510 stuff , like the EGO's and clones .

Hi Santa,

I would ask the vendor if the eGo-t was manufactured by Joyetech if your keen on getting an original eGo. I do agree with Renzuli, there are some good clones as well but as a newbie, I know the feeling of being unsure and fear of buying a unreliable product. Just read some of the posts on here and youtube is also a great resource for product reviews.

Re 2-piece and 3-piece models... It doesn't matter. Most people end up using all ecigs as 2-piece for their everyday vaping. That's why it's important to buy a model you know there are cartomizers available for. The main difference is models mainly sold as 2-pieces have plenty of prefilled cartos to try and ones sold mainly as 3-pieces have almost no decent prefilled cartos (unless you use an adapter to try the 2-piece model's prefilled cartos).

Any of the ego type modles are compatable with 510 cartomizers or atomizers. Ive found cartomizers to be much more reliable and easy to use.
That seems ideal because atomizers and carts seem tedious to keep up with in the first place. A few quick questions, if you don't mind:
1. Is the ego-c compatible with cartomizers or is that strictly an atomizer model?
2. What is an easy and great cartomizer model?

Thank you.

The idea of filling cartomizers was unappealing to me as a new vaper. I chose the Ego-C as my first PV and have not regretted it. I think it's a very intuitive system to use, there's no filler that you have to worry about keeping moist to prevent burning, I can just fill the tank, pop it on and go. No waiting 20-30 minutes for juice to settle (like recommended when filling cartos).

I met with a few other vapers locally yesterday, and one of them has been vaping for a year and a half. He said after he received his Ego-C and vaped on it about a week to make sure he liked it and had no issues with it, sold off all his un-used cartomizers, because he gets a cleaner, crisper taste with the Ego-C then he ever did with carto's.

I currently use just the tank, but I do have some atomizers on order for dripping (already have a drip tip). I don't have any plans to use carto's at this point in my vaping journey.

Hope this helps!
