I'm gonna be ordering one when my taxes come in, and I just have a few questions.

1. Does the button light up?

2. If so, if I order the green LED option, does the button also light up green?

3. Is there anywhere I can find different colored endcaps? Not extended endcaps, but something like a regular size metallic green.

4. How long is the device, and what tanks are best used on it?

5. What's the battery life like?

6. And possibly most importantly, is there something better I could get for my money?

My answers are stuck to the end of your questions. (I'm too lazy to break all the quotes out.) :)

I'm gonna be ordering one when my taxes come in, and I just have a few questions.

1. Does the button light up? Yes

2. If so, if I order the green LED option, does the button also light up green? I ordered the blue, and my button lights up blue, so I would assume so.

3. Is there anywhere I can find different colored endcaps? Not extended endcaps, but something like a regular size metallic green. I don't know. As I'm sure you know, the extended can be ordered in color.

4. How long is the device, and what tanks are best used on it? 4.1" L x 0.90" D (stock 18500 battery version) (without atomizer) is what the website says. I assume it's right. (I don't have a ruler on me, but it looks correct.) Regarding the tank, it's your preference obviously. Look for a 510 connection. I'm using a V-Fate Nova, and it works well.

5. What's the battery life like? Depends on how much you vape, I guess. I have the 18650 and extender cap, and mine lasts over 24 hours (although I do use other devices).

6. And possibly most importantly, is there something better I could get for my money? I'll leave this question for others. It's my favorite, but I haven't tried everything out there. This will boil down to personal preference.

How would you rate the Provari over something like the Nemesis?

My blog on the Provari: WHY PROVARI?

  • Provari - a regulated (variable voltage) mod, which will keep your vape quality consistant and constant from your first puff to your last. The Provari is particulary adept in this. Ability to adjust voltage higher or lower to suit your taste. Built-in ohms and voltage meter and LED display. Built-in safety features such as short circuit protection, over-discharge protection, timed limit on the fire button safety, reverse battery protection, thermal protection, etc.
  • Nemesis - a mechanical mod (no variable voltage) whose vape quality will depend upon the battery's voltage and the resistance of the attachment. It will have a drop in vape quality as you use it due to battery sag as the battery drains from fully-charged to needing a charge. No built-in features, including no safety features. Use of a Vape Safe mod fuse is recommended.

4. How long is the device, and what tanks are best used on it? The standard 4.13", mini 3.48". A 19mm IBTanked will be flush with the top of the endcap. A 22mm IBTanked will be the width of the battery tube, and looks best with the Tatroe ring (available from ProVape and CigTechs).

5. What's the battery life like? for an 18650 it's about 1 day for me

6. And possibly most importantly, is there something better I could get for my money? No. in my opinion

One addition to the answer to question one. You can turn off the light up button.
Yes, there is a function to turn off the LED light (fire button) in the menu. The LED light is useful as it will blink when the battery's voltage is low enough to require charging.

Battery life. Of course this depends upon how heavy you use the battery.

  • 18350 (700 mAh) - approximately 7 hours of use
  • 18490 (1100 mAh) - approximately 11 hours of use
  • 18650 (2000 mAh) - approximately 20 hours of use

Your mileage may vary. Be aware that you must use button-top, high-drain batteries in the Provari. Provape strongly recommends using only AW IMR batteries.
