I would love to make some kind of cake icing similar to MsT's or Buttercream Icing similar to KBV. I know I may be asking a lot but if I could even make something half that good I'd be happy and a whole lot richer as I'm spending way to much on vendor bought ejuices. :( Also I'm getting ready to order some more flavorings. I already have quite a few capellas(which I really like), and a few TPA and a couple others. I mostly plan on making bakery type or sweet ejuices with maybe an occasional fruitty flavor. What are some flavors that you would say are "Must Haves" to make cake, cookies, and icing or cupcake juices. Who makes the best flavoring for those types of juices. I have capellas van cupcake, van custard, french vanilla, ny cheescake, caramel, and more. What do I need to make the Icing flavor. I could only find 1 recipe and it called for TPA sweet cream as well as buttercream. Anyone try those and what else would you recommend? I also would like to make a lot of cookie type recipes. Who makes the best cookie flavoring and cake flavoring. I see cookie by flavourart as well as TPA and most of the others. Then there are a ton of creams. Vienna cream, whipped cream, fresh cream, and bavarian cream as well as sweet cream. Which would probably work best in a cake icing flavor? Then you have Capellas, Loranns, TPA, Flavor West, Signature, Tasty Puff and more. Which companies are the best for vaping, especially bakery sweet flavors. I know I really like capellas but they don't make a lot of the flavors needed for bakery vapes. There are just way too many choices. Looking through the DIY forums it can be hard to find info like this because it's kind of all over the place. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. If you have a great recipe for sugar cookie, icing or cupcake I'd appreciate that too. Looking to make juices at least almost as good as my favorite vendor. I've already made a few that are close but still really need help with the bakery types. Thanks so much. I really appreciate all the help I get from all of you here in the DIY forums.

Bakery-wise essentials in my book...

Capella NY Cheesecake
Capella Vanilla Cupcake
Capella Marshmallow
Capella Gingerbread
Capella Lemon Meringue Pie
Capella Caramel
FlavorWest Yellow Cake
FlavorWest Sugar Cookie
FlavorWest Cinnamon Churro
FlavourArt Cookie
FlavourArt Vienna Cream
FlavourArt Catalan Cream
TPA Toasted Marshmallow
LorAnn Bavarian Cream
DIYFS Buttercream
DIYFS Cinnamon Roll
And of course EM and Sweetener...some like LorAnn's Tart and Sour in small amounts.

I don't have other Caramels...but read Str8's Caramels review in the Flavor reviews forum. They all taste different.

I think those are all the main ones I use often. Hope that doesn't drain your bank account too much. :)

Perfect! Exactly what I was looking for. It was your recipe for Icing that I plan on trying. How would you compare it to the other vendors? I actually have written down quite a few of your recipes. ;-) From the recipes you have listed here, I think we may have similar tastes too. I have most of those Capellas except gingerbread and lemon which I really have no interest in but ALL the others you listed sound like exactly the 'types" I'm looking for. I'm also having trouble finding recipes as they seem to be scattered about. Is there anywhere where you have your listed all together? I also like quite a few of St8v8pings recipes. I'm looking to get a few together to try. Any good sugar cookie recipe you can recommend? Also I noticed you don't have sweet cream listed but it is in that icing recipe. Is that one you don't use much. I like sweet and you stated it was really sweet so I thought I might like it. Is there another you would use in it's place? Thanks so much.:)

I'm gonna revise my icing recipe as I found it a little off after a while. I'll keep you posted on it. My favorite was TV's Buttercream Cupcake. Never liked KBV's and haven't tried Ms. T's.

As for the Sugar Cream, it's a little too sweet for my tastes. I'd only recommend it for someone with a SERIOUS sweet tooth. Very potent too. I find most fine with some EM or Marshmallow.

I have nothing for Sugar Cookie. Ms. T's was my favorite and I'd love to replicate it. I'm waiting on Capella to release theirs and work with that.

Just search Bishy's in the recipe forum for all mine. I have a few not posted, and you can always feel free to PM me if you want help with a recipe or some guidance and I can try my best.

Hope that helps!

I use sweet cream quit a bit! it goes in all my coffee mix,you may rethink about gingerbread, I had it in my drawer for a while (didn't really sound appealing to me!) I finally decide to give it a try! mixed it at 15% and add 3 drops of tart & sour. Holy sweet bejesus:D since then I always have a bottle ready. Really nice when your taste buds are playing game with you! Straighten em up in a heartbeat!

I've been using Bruce from COV his Vanilla Cream juice is amazing, so I use it on top of other juices for just that ( icing ) it is especially good on top of a butter scotch Bon Bon, or any butter scotch,,,,great for any dessert type or bakery type juice to put the icing on the cake shall we say :) I'm wondering if Natures flavors vanilla & one of there creams would make this up,, will have to start searching NF a bit,,,,seeing COV,,, and Todd from Vaperite sell organic flavorings and NF sells an all organic line of flavorings it makes me lean towards NF to make a great vanilla-cream icing

I just placed an order at TV for their Buttercream cupcake as well as just the the buttercream icing, pineapple cupcake(not my choice) so I do hope they are good. As for the sweet cream only being for someone with a real sweet tooth, that describes me LOL. Maybe I will try it and just add a little with other things. So capellas is releasing a sugar cookie? I will be all over that. I do have their marshmallow as well. My biggest DIY problem has really just been finding the time. I have 3 little ones 3 and under, with the youngest being 4 month old, so it's hard to get anything done. Also have not found a great way to test flavors. I've been using a 510 atty which has been horrible. Either tastes burnt or just floods and then still doesn't work. Would a 306 or 106 or one of those hybrids be better?
@icebob I just have never liked any gingerbread vapes I've tried. I tried vapealicious, altcig , ecblend and they just didn't appeal to me. Maybe down the road after getting a couple DIY juices figured out that I love, I can start playing with outher stuff. I have a few fruit flavors from Capellas too but I'm really mostly working with just bakery type stuff first. I will get there though. Thanks so much for all the help. Any advice on a better atty would be great too. I'm using a Lavatube if that makes a difference. Thanks
Edit: As for the LMP I usually don't like lemony stuff but I might just try that one. I never thought I'd like Pineapple shake either but I got it in the swap and it's the one flavor that started me ordering from KBV and now they are my go to vendor. Thanks again:)

Haha, time is always a factor with a lot here I've noticed. :p I personally use a 901 on my Buzz Pro for testing. Maybe you need a new atty? Or maybe you just need to learn how to drip if you don't normally.

As for the Gingerbread, if you don't like it alone...it's great in cookies and adds to them. And the LMP...I'm not the biggest fan of lemons or the pie itself. But woo, it translates to vaping too well.

I do want a new atty. I have about 10 510 that are all in working order and I've been trying to drip since I started vaping and do still do it everytime I get a new flavor or make a DIY juice so I've done it at least 100 times, probably more. You'd think I'd have it down. It just never tastes right. I've tried LR 510 ans SR so I just don't know what I could still be doing wrong. I've read a ton of threads saying drip 5 drops, let it soak and drip 1-2 more so I've tried that as well as every variation of that methos that I've read and it still always floods and leaks or I get like 1 good puff and the second puff tastes burnt. What's the difference with the 306, i06 etc. Just wish there was a better way.:( And yes now you guys have all talked me into trying the LMP. LOL:)

Dripping is an art. It took me a while to nail it down, bit I got it now. I do 6 drops, wait as long as I can stand to (usually a minute) and the vape. Once it tastes off or I just get that feeling it's time...I drip 3 drops. 4 doesn't hurt, but 3 is where I settled on as good. Someone else will hop on about attys since I only use standard 901's.
