ok so i bought the SMOKTECH MBC V1 from a local smoke shop... so i asked the lady if it takes the same replacement coils as the
protank 3.. she said no they are slightly different... they look EXACTLY the same to me.. can i use the protank replacement coil for this thing??

and also, how do you guys store your tanks at night? do u take the coil out? sit them right side up? upside down? on their side? leave the tank on the battery over night? whats the method to your madness?

p.s. love the site... this is one of biggest forum sites ive ever been a part of..

i cant seem to find the replacement coil for the mbc v1

the coil doesn't sit in the tank at the same place one thing, and something else can't recall.

Smoketech is Smoketech and Kanger is Kanger. Could be a slight variance in the hight of the tube, minor diameter of where it fits the base or any number of other things.

As far as how I store my tanks at night (iClear 16, iClear 30, Evod or Mini Pro) - I turn the battery off and lay it down on my end table. Then I pick it back up in the morning.

thanks for the replies. i appreciate them! i swear they look exactly the same... i have a protank and i swear im tempted to take the coil out and put it in this thing and see if it works lol. but you guys are right, its probably a very small un-noticeable difference.

Yes you can use standard kanger evod coils But the Smok tech ones work very nice The 1.7 ohm ribbon wire is one of my favorites
