I'm just done with the constant charging/changing batteries. I have a tiny hand and one of those huge mods would look ridiculous not to mention be awkward to handle.

I'm looking for a smallish mod with a longer battery life. I've been looking at the GLV-2 mini. Any thoughts on those? One of our local shops here in Vegas is getting a shipment of them in tomorrow. They look nice, but how well do they work? The (awesome) woman who works there said she can get up to 3 days out of the battery before charging again and loves it. It's petite and I like that it comes in colors. But looks aren't everything, right? :)

Any 2 cents ? :2c:

thanks!- Gabi:wub:

I would suggest the prover mini or Lavatube mini as well, but if you really like your ego's performance and simplicity then joyetech has the new EGO-T 18650 MOD, its basically an ego-C2 upgrade with an 18650 battery. it will only run you about $30 to $40 dollars depending on where you buy it but its convenient cause you don't have to by a separate charger to charge the 18650 batt. you just screw the entire unit with battery into your ego-C rapid charger and it will do the regular 3.2v and switch to 3.8v with a push of a button(only two modes, nothing in between) cost effective for sure. Size is pretty small, similar to the other devices mentioned

I don't know anything about them except (a) Everything I've ever read on here has been positive, and (b) I like that Lifetime Warranty! (Also they appear to be solidly built.) Might be an excellent choice if you're happy with a fixed voltage. :D

Thank you all kindly for your input! I appreciate it very much. I will look into the provari mini and lavatube mini guys thanks. I'm not real fond of the ego. I looked at the new T and not sure about that one. I'm kind of scared to get into the whole variable voltage foray as I have no idea how that works and reading about them makes my brain hurt lol. I feel like I need an electrician's degree to follow along.

I'll toss out my love for the look of the GLV products. Unless something drastic happens, a GLV-2 will be on my shopping list sooner or later. (Just need to recoup my current spending first). I'm going with something with a black and blue color combo, just haven't decided which way yet. Blue/black body/cap or Black/blue body/cap. I think I may try taking the color sample JPEGs and playing around in Photoshop to see if I can check out what it'll look like. :)

If the Provari Mini is just as good as the Provari V2 - GET YOUR HANDS ON ONE AS FAST AS YOU CAN !
Went thru the eGo and all the others out there before "biting the bullet" and laying out the serious cash for my PV V2.
Best money I've ever spent !
Go with the Provari - Your shopping days will be over & you'll fall in love with it :)

Another alternative could be the eGo Twist 1000mAh. They look elegant and it offers vv, too. But if it´s a question of highest quality, I would also recommend the Provari Mini to you. Unfortunately it´s expensive... ;-) But if you have the possibility to buy it, you will never doubt it was a good deal!

Variable voltage is really simple. If you can use an electric toothbrush with settings, you can master a VV PV. Just use a 3ohm cartomizer. Set the machine to between 3 and 3.5 volts and increase the voltage until it works for you. That's all you really need to do. No degree required. The LT has a + and - button. The Provari has a menu system. Either one is 100X easier to learn than your cellphone.

Both the Lavatube and the Provari have built in features that won't let you damage your atty or carto. I'm not sure about the Provari, but the LT won't even let you put the battery in backwards. If you try to use too high a voltage on too low a resistance, the LT will automatically cut your voltage to a safe level so you don't burn your atty out. The Provari will give you an error message and refuse to fire until you change your ways.

Both the Provari mini and the LT mini give long vape times in a relatively small package. The Vtube (Lavatube) mini from Apollo even comes in colors and will introduce you to variable voltage vaping for around $60-70 if you're not sure you want to take the plunge into the more expensive Provari.
