After 2 years, vaping is second nature to me now, and I'm 110% confident that as long as I vape I won't be smoking.

I know some people use vaping as a temporary stop gap to get them off smoking or any kind of nicotine intake, but in my case I've switched to vaping as a preventative measure.

I have tried all other form of quit methods, and I mean EVERYTHING from patches; books (Allen Carr); Hypnosis; Cold turkey; Zyban and Champix; cutting down; chewing tabacoo; chewing gum; snuff - and finally vaping!

Vaping has proven now after 2 years that it has kept me off smoking for the longest period of my life since I started smoking in the first place, prior to vaping the longest I went without a smoke was thanks to Zyban and I managed to stay off smoking for a year.

What has changed since I started vaping? Well A LOT, the improved cartomizers hitting the scenes lately give near perfect vapes, and for me have completely replaced dripping and atomizers. I've also settled on certain juice brands, and very seldom end up with throw away bad juice. I also stay clear of cheap juice, and don't experiment much with new juice. I have 3 fruit flavors I alternate and that is that. I guess you could say my vaping as become a whole lot more stable.

PV wise - I would like to thank Provape for the outstanding Provari. It has kept me going for a long time now, really can't fault the device.

Socially? Vaping where I live (Czech Republic) has become more socially acceptable. And often I see people vaping in public - MUCH MORE than 2 years ago. Around here most people have Ego tanks. Most vapers here don't know anything about ECF or the American scene, so when I do meet a fellow vaper and pull out my VV Provari it is all shocks and awe.

Once not too long ago, I was in a bar and 2 girls were sitting close by, so I asked them if they mind if I vaped, and I was amazed when one of the girls showed me her Ego - and said "Go right ahead". Just 2 days ago while crossing the road, I noticed another vaper puffing away while crossing the street - times are good!

At work I tend to vape with the smokers. Each time they smoke, I'll vape. I never get preachy about vaping, but some of the smokers have expressed interest in vaping, and I gave one a PV, and he actually quit smoking, and then quit vaping. Another smoker I work with now smokes less. I continue to vape, and (sigh) still continue to get the odd dirty look from people who think its some kind of voodoo pipe. But in general I see like - some people will be shocked when they see it first time around - but eventually seeing vapers all over the place will make it even more socially acceptable - so guys don't hide your vaping!

Most importantly HEALTH.

After 2 years I haven't developed any major problem due to vaping. My lung capacity and energy levels have improved, and overall health considerably since I was a smoker. 2 years ago I quit because I felt like I was going to die. What I can tell you is the proof is in the pudding. None of us know with great certainty the long term health consequences of vaping, but what I can say from personal experience is I don't feel any adverse affects from it after 2 years of heavy use. I'm not a doctor, nor a medical professional, but I do know before I quit smoking I would wake up at night gasping for breath, I would 1/2 vommit nearly every morning. I had circulation issues and would get pins and needles in my legs for no reason. ALL of that has gone. But at the same time - vaping burnt atties or cartos , or certain cartos can cause lung irritation - so my advice is only vape good stuff, and if you're not happy don't buy the same product twice and bin existing stuff causing irritation. Another thing I've noticed is that from time to time I get a slight PG/VG build up in my lungs, nothing serious and completely preventable by doing some cardio workout 2-3 times a week (which you should be doing anyways).

Will I quit vaping anytime soon?

I've decided that when my PV breaks from wear and tear, I'll most likely not replace it. Not because I have anything against vaping, but I will attempt to be completely nic intake free. Should I get sudden urges to smoke, I'll replace the pv though - rather error on the safe side, so they say.

Happy vaping, and good luck to you all!
