That isn't a vivi nova. It looks to be a bit similar to a genesis but with silica wick and spring loaded posts instead of screws. I was thinking about grabbing it as an intermediate between rebuilding the vivi nova and an honest genny. I just don't feel ready to tackle SS mesh.

SS mesh is super easy my friend. Its the coils that are a pain in the ... at first.

I can now fully rebuild, from the ground up, an rba in about 15-20 minutes. And I've only been at them for around a month.

I'm still a bit intimidated by mesh wicks also. One of these days I'll grow a pair and try a Genesis RBA.

I guess I should have been less snarky in my response...I don't see myself liking that new Smoktech clearo for the same reason I didn't like the Vivi Nova: e-liquid doesn't defy gravity quite well enough with the top-coil design of the Vivi Nova and other top-coil clearomizers. I hate tipping the tank to get the e-liquid to where it should be. I want to pick up my device, suck on the end of it and feel satisfied.

I have reading/comprehension problems that makes following text a little difficult. I read online by skimming the posts to pick-up phrases (which I read better than individual words) that present the gist of a comment or question, and then go back and try to put the concept into context. It's kind of difficult to explain. Even that method can be confusing, since sometimes I lock onto single words or phrases that link together, but actually mean something else entirely.

Your post made me spit coffee on my desk. You want to grow what and do what?

I have come to love my Protank as well, but let me tell ya... I seriously can not WAIT for a pyrex Vivi Nova. I am probably the only person on Earth (or at least it feels like it sometimes!) that things the flavor is better in a vivi vs a kanger product.

Vivi Novas with their plastic form factor seriously MUTE flavor.

I doubt you will see threaded Pyrex glass (Vivi Nova design)......it would break being threaded....and "if" it "could" be threaded the area where threads were etched would be much more vulnerable to breaking.

RECALLS GALORE for vendors. A nightmare!

I really like the green glass on that! :thumb: Doesn't look painted at all. Does that Provari have a green LED display, too? You need some black delrin Pro Rings on that baby.
Yep, green LED.... Although based on the discussions around here lately, I'm ashamed to admit I own Provape products.

I envy your skills. I tried for two months last year before giving up due to mediocre results. I'm two weeks into my 2013 attempt. I'm definitely much better at it than I was (though still not great at it) but I'm still SLOW.
