I'm thankful I'm not attached to an oxygen tank, and I have ECF, mainly a lot to thank for that. I am thankful for being stocked up! I am thankful for my husband and can't believe we have been together 17 years!

I am thankful for my job, even/despite it ALSO being my BIGGEST source of stress for many, many months. I swear, I have still never loved a job as much as I do this one, especially given everything which has been thrown at me.

I am thankful my meds are rigth FINALLY. Oy. That was a rough 6 months. Thankful for my sobriety, and for being, as always I am thankful for this usually, alive.

I am thankful the kid is turning out better than I could have hopod, it was touch and go for a while there. I'm thankful for my nuball extended family (both sides)

LOL you should have seen the MIL card this year. I believe it may have been a famous paining, but the husband got the pretty birds I got the one that looked like a good cursing.

Nah, she's actually a well-renouned artist who does counted cross stitch. She's just... a bit odd.

Her apology for the many ways she messed up the husband (incuding like HIDING in a ROOM for a YEAR (literally, they wuold slide food underneath) when her first husband died for a year with BOTH her kids there. That had to be a BAD freaking scene, dude.) was, "You know, I never should have had children." Heh. It wasn't very inspiring, I don't think. LOL. My husband was walking with her in the desert and she has a cane, he pretended to be lost. I was like, "How much extra did you make her walk."

He was like, "Five minutes then I sort of came to my senses." I told him he was a kind person.LOL

She came to visit us becuase the husband was like, "This may be the only chance she gets, etc." We paid for everything, the plane ticket, everything." I was in the middle of an Ultram detox at the time, so like I really had to keep my cool. Like when she was folding the husband's laundry OUT of the drier and saying, "He works so hard." I was like, "ME TOO, MIL, me too. So do you. So why don't you just come OUT of there and...." Then I fled to smoke.

LOL she brought gitfts that time too. My husband got like this GIGANTIC and incredible counted cross stitch of the long verson of the Serenity prayer. It was super cool, honetly. I got.. Crocheted dishrags.

Sometimes, no gift is betten than A gift, that's for sure. LOL.

She sent me a cross stitch of the shorter Serentiy prayer this Christmas actually maybe I am finally getting back in her good books after maintaining Opiate sobriety a lot of years and taking care of her cracked out PTSD son and working or whatever.

I don't mind if it is shorter. I like to pray in short increments anyway. I'm not perfect. Just like my MIL. LOL.

Although my apology to the kid for my maternal errors came at a far more youthful age for him, and like,, did not contain the phrase "I should never have had you."
