26650 mods pro's and cons?

Ok so I'm new to this forum so i do have some questions, 26650 mods what are the pro's and con's of using one? i have been thinking about buying one after i get my whiteout dna200, any information tips or mod recommendations would be absolutely awesome

The great benefit is the increased battery life, and the fact 26650s usually can manage a 5amp higher loading can be useful. The drawback is size and weight. I have a Philippine made Silver Dragon I like a lot.

I have a Philippine made smok-E Mountain VREX. Although you get a lot for your money, they are big & they are heavy.

Yup, like they've said, mainly battery life. Make sure you read Mooch's latest blog post about recommended batteries, 26650 included.

This is a great discussion. I'm looking for 26650 mods to buy. I'm having one built for my by Scott's Mods right now. Should be ready in a day or two. I'll let you know how well it is made when I get it.

Its a myth that these 26650 give you higher amps or better performance, maybe a little more battery life, they are way behind the 18650 by some way. My Vapor flask stout performed worse with a green Efest 26650 than it did with a Sony VTC4 for example.

As above, the Vapor Flask Stout. You can use a 26650 or a 18650 ..

As I said above, I have not received my box mod from Scott's Mods yet, but it is supposed to run 18650s and 26650s. BC Box Mods also makes 26650 box mods. I wanted the flexibility of being able to use 18650 and 26650 to future proof at least one of my box mods in case I cannot get my hands on a specific battery type.

Fantastic looking mod, and in all seriousness how could you ever compare any Efest with any Sony (battery wise). Efest - king of lies and rewraps. Sony - battery manufacturer. I'm not surprised at all with your findings.
