I was in one of my local vape shops a few weeks ago and I was sitting at the table making clouds with my ELA and an RDA. This couple walked in looking to purchase some liquid and parts. They both had ego style batteries and kanger pro-tanks they were using. It kind of looked like they had matching setups. The guy saw me vaping and was wondering what I was using. I explained to him what it was and how I had it set up. He said he was vaping for a few months. I said to him that he should upgrade to a mod because he looked like he wanted to. While his wife was talking to the owner, he was starting to look at some of the mods in the cases like the nemesis clone. His wife kind of looked at him funny and said that what he had was fine. She totally took his ego and his ego battery and laid down the law. She kind of put the whip on him. A few minutes later they purchased what they needed and left. She kind of looked annoyed. I hope I did not cause any problems between them. I can't help that when people see my ELA they are interested in what it is. Maybe this was just my perception of what happened, I don't know. (This was just a quick version of what happened. I did not feel like typing a whole page worth.)

I've been in a physical store twice. Felt a combination of disinterest and fear.
Sometimes people say it would be best to support local merchants. To me the Internet is my local, it's where it began and the relationships are real.

I purchased my first mod from my local vape shop. That was prior to my research, resulting in my ELA purchase. I have purchased all of my non Super-T atties from them. I continue to purchase my supplies(juice, batteries, Kanthal, etc.) from them. I trust their juice source. I like to support the little/local guy when I can.

And yes, the internet is where my relationships are real. :)

I was my local vape shop's first customer. I purchased my mod before they were officially open. Yes, I am pushy. I saw them in there, and I got them to open the doors. They didn't even know how to use their register yet. Now, I am kinda their 'poster child'. My 'Stats' are regularly posted on their wall. When people ask if vaping works, they tell my story. :)

I cannot say I ever felt fear in a local B&M. I really don't visit these local shops that often though. I would rather support the online vendors who helped me a great deal to stop smoking. There are a lot of these shops opening up in my area and some of them are so overpriced on the items they are selling. I started online and I will always do the majority of my purchasing online from vendors I know I can trust.

While I love Super T's quality , I'm not so much in love with the way they handle inventory and shipping. The ELA was an incredible mod but I wouldn't put myself through that again , but now having flashbacks with the 26650. I got the ole "electronic shipping notice" on Thurs. with no change and now Super T is on holiday for a week , the 3 to 4 days is already going on 2 weeks for in stock mods? I have patience but its not the wait that gives me a bad taste. I don't know?
