What do you think of the switch? I love it, but since I have no plans of personally comparing it to anything else I'm curious how other 26650 bottom buttons stack up.

Personally, I love it. I do not like recessed switches so the switch on this is optimum for me. I like the longer throw because I have larger hands and I like the fact that the spring is not overly taut. I had a Hades and the pressure required to fire the thing gave me hand cramps. I took the switch apart, gave it a good cleaning and gave the locking ring threads a slight coating of lithium grease. This is the first 26650 mod I have owned that doesn't make me feel like I'm carrying around a baseball bat.

I've had mine since Friday but went to the ER about 15 minutes after I got the mailbox when a razor sharp 10" chef knife decided to fall off the knife bar and try to cut my finger off... Derp.

Finally had a chance to open the package today and wow... this is serious business here! Still charging my batteries but I'm sure it'll work at least as good as it looks!

Finger is gonna be fine thankfully. I'm glad there is a bone in the finger. That's the only thing that stopped the knife. Damn thing slid off the bar, hit the counter and did a hatchet flip into my right (dominant) hand before i had a chance to react. Lame. 9 stitches to close it up. Got lucky I guess... no tendon or nerve damage.

But I won't have to change a battery for a day probably with this mod and a 3ml REF Gen. Vapes awesome!!

Like others I really like the switch. With my Ti 500 and hydra I can set it down without firing. Not so with the 18650 simplicity and strata. The 26650 and REF also stand on their own without locking. Since I can't really use my right hand to lock atm I'll be using the 26650 and Ti for a few days. My gf offered to help change 18490s for me so I'm good!

A report about 2 year old AW 26500s: Today I took the Simplicity 26500 to work with a freshly charged battery and a 1.5 ohm coil. Left at 5:30, just now (12 hours later) checked the voltage. 4.03 volts. I'd say that is damn good. Obviously I wasn't vaping my head off because that's not what I get paid to do, but still.
