Was screwing around and came up with this.... gives people a basis for ideas. If you get it successfully, you'll just need to send me a few!!!

The back mouthpiece of the 510 cart pops off with a paperclip or such. Once you do this there is another hole. Insert a pick of some type and this also removes. Now you can see all the dead air space in the cart! I heated my pick and punched a hole through the rectangular bottom of the liquid resevoir. I then took a cart insert (white piece) from an RN4075 (I think this is the model, aka njoy NPRO) and trimmed a very small slice off it with an exacto knife (razor). When inserted into the mouthpiece end of the 510 it sat flush. I pulled it back out and ran a ring of superglue (had no epoxy or silicone) around the lip of the RN4075 cart and re-inserted keeping the rectangular edges of both cart pieces lined up. Let dry and it held 29 drops of water. Then it leaked ;-(. Using epoxy or a silicone type material would work. This also would not disrupt the air path for taking a hit. Using this 29-30 drop resevoir with the ADM plug mod should work well. Someone give it a shot (who has the right material) and let me know!!!I have other ideas here in process. One uses the original end of the 510 cart and pops off to reveal an injectable resealing membrane for filling...

Pictures or drawings please. I have almost no idea of what you're describing. I don't know what you mean by "back mouthpiece".

And I assume you're using a whistle-tip? I have round 510s and ain't nothin gonna pop off with a paperclip.

It is a round cart. Insert a peperclip and pry it off. It will pop out.

That wont work cause once you punch a hole in the bottom of the filler chamber, the air path and the part holding the liquid would be one. If you did the above when you will the cart it would leak threw that hole and fill up the air path.. you'll be sucking the juice right out of it.

Scottes, use a very tiny small screw driver to pry off the 2 caps at the end of the 510 cart. Just insert it in the hole and push the screw driver to the side and it will pop off.

I always take my carts apart when i go to soak them in soapy water.

I do not think you are getting the jist of my idea. Think of it as extending the resevoir. You are punching a hole in the bottom of the fluid container and then adding another container to extend it. The air passing through the cart will still be isolated from the fluid chamber. The air would pass around the added container.

Ok.. as long as the piece your extending it with is the same size as the inner chamber then fine.

Though, personally i would be worried about using glue or epoxy where the fluid would be.

Someone else came up with a mod that also used epoxy to extend the cart length.. cant remember what the thread was called something with dripping in it though. Crap just went looking for it and cant find it now.

He had a cool mod though.. extended the cart using some other plastic hoses. he could squeeze the cart and it would drip on the atty when runing dry. he even diped the cart in black plastic paint.
