"2nd generation" e-power switch? Differences?

Curious after reading some of these posts, I just timed my e-power and it ran for 15 seconds before cutting off.

Mine does the same with duals. A good 30 seconds.

... I have 2 of them and both have a cut off and the light blinks, it is what has made me not like these, but if you have a no time limit cut off switch that would be super and I would like one, but I wonder if the threads are the same as my unit

I have 2 switches...my original switch bought in May has a 13 second cut-off with no blinking. The new switch I received Monday has a 15 second cutoff, again no blinking.

Another difference in the 2 switches is the battery low indicator. My first switch blinks 3 times, and the switch shuts off. The new one blinks continuously for about 10 seconds then shuts off.

I believe the blinking is an error condition, probably over current. Do you have to reset the switch by removing it from the battery before it starts working again? Can you just unscrew the atty or carto to get it going again?
