So after doing a little digging of my own and consulting with my shop battery supplier a couple days ago (I work at a b and m) I have pieced together that sony has not produced vtc batteries for going on like three years but have let subcontractor companies build them in Japan until the Fukushima (not sure if I spelled that right lol) incident and have since moved production into the Philippines and even though they are still technically "vtc" that QC is garbage compared to what it was in Japan. Can anyone else confirm this? My battery guy has said to wait it out for another couple of months and make sure nothing bad happens before I start stocking them in store again and for the time being should just stick with LG HE2's. After a couple other posts I am pretty sure that this is where I will stick to for the time being as LG is more likely to have better QC than anyone else at the moment and I feel more comfortable vaping on a known name than an unknown name...(although I do have and use a couple others, I do still prefer my LG and sony batts at the moment)

I heard the same things you did. Pretty interesting stuff! You should also stock Samsung 25R's, the only other battery on the market at the moment with the QC you desire. I think it's great that you have set standards for your store. I see a lot of B+Ms carrying all the "hot" new stuff that ends up being re-wrapped junk batteries. So thumbs up to you for standing your ground.

My local B&M claims the efest 35amp are the best you can buy lololol
Those are more than likely rewrapped LG HE2s and they're only 35a PULSED. Its a 20a continuous battery in reality, and real LGs are cheaper than their rejects that Efest uses..
