Looking for some clarification / help please?

Is it fair to assume that if you buy your juice at 2x flavor, you can double it up with a pg/vg mix to get the same flavor strength as the standard juice version? (obviously I realise the nic content will be cut in half too).

Anyone done this before? Also be good to hear from a member of staff about this too.

I asked a similar question... I received an answer from another junkie and not a staff member, so please do not take my word as Gospel, tempting as it may be :p

But, as I understand your question... you are basically asking whether or not the "2x" differentiation is indeed a literal term meaning there is exactly 2 times the amount of flavor added from the original recipe. If this is the case, it should follow that adding a PG/VG mix of the same size would mean the new mixture would meet the flavoring quantities of the original recipe.

HOWEVER, I was told by the aforementioned junkie (who shall remain nameless due to the fact that I may be totally wrong, lol), that that is not necessarily the case. Meaning that 2x flavors could be more like 125% of normal flavoring added and not the literal 200% flavoring that is implied by "2x"

They'll have to answer this for you, but that was my impression.

Ok Thanks - Anyone else care to add?

Have emailed them with a link to this thread, So hopefully get an answer soon! :)

I just wish I had made this post before (instead of after) my order! haha. It only occurred to me afterwards it might not be double. Be a good idea to put some info on the site about it, I reckon. As it is, it can be a little misleading perhaps?

I had a similar question when I ordered some juce with extra flavor by mistake. I emailed the company and received this reply.

"Extra flavoring is double the normal amount, and 2X Extra is 3 times the
normal amount.

If you got it with Extra (not 2X), mixing 30% of that and 70% of the regular
should only be a bit stronger than normal - it might be what you had been
aiming for originally. Or, you can do 20%/80%, etc."

Was it something I said?
Well I have a similar question which I guess fits here instead of my own thread.
I'm getting a bloog max fusion soon, and there have been some juice issues and until they are sorted I want to use no more than a 70pg/30vg mix. But I also want to get some juices they only offer in 50/50.
Hmmm
So, with mausin saying what seems to me that it varries with different flavors, and res's support email giving a ratio, I dunno.

Any guidance mausin?
Take American Spirits for example. Say 10ml of 2x 24mg 50/50.
How much PG to add to it to get closer to a 70/30 blend while shooting for a "1x" flavor? Not knowing what's in the flavors, if I just assumed it was all pg and vg, then I'd guess 2 ml of PG to dilute it. This would give me 12 ml of 20mg juice. But how much did I dilute that "2x" extra flavor by upping the total volume to 120%?
