2x RCR123A at 6V

I just ordered some RCR123A for use in my precise plus 18650.

I got some without protection circuits. What kind of precautions do I have to take with these, what can go wrong, and what are the warning signs that something might go wrong?

make sure to always charge them together. always check the voltage after you charge and replace them in pairs. never toss one and keep an old and add new., really should have the protected if the mod doesnt offer a circuit for it.

The batteries will start to get hot and/or start acting funny. usually not a problem with regular care and attention to them.

Using unprotected batteries that aren't safe chemistry is a very bad idea.
