2x18650 parallel box mods with mosfet?

i never knew how hard it is just to buy a simple hammond box with a mosfet. Cant find em anywhere. Hexohm seems to be the only one but theyre regulated and ridiculously priced. How hard can it be just to buy a simple hammond box mosfet mod? gawsh

You could try ebay. I know it may not be the best for name-brand mods, but for a box mod that somebody is probably building in their garage or basement, what's the difference? I just did a quick search and there are tons available for well under 100 bucks, many under $50. I kind of like the acrylic boxes.

Anyway, I recently got a gently used Hexohm from a member here and am glad I did, as I like the ability to adjust the voltage at the 510. I can't imagine having parallel mosfet box running full blast all the time. I know that can be managed by varying the resistance of the build - but I still like to have the option of changing the wattage on the fly using the potentiometer.

You're right, for what you are getting they seem overpriced. Note that I stated that mine was gently used so I didn't pay full retail, but still paid well over 100 bucks. I've paid more than that for a regulated VW box mod, so it's all the same to me. Obviously you are getting a LOT more functionality and refinement on something like a Yihi SX Mini for example, but the vape can be just as good on the Hexohm mod - excluding temp control of course.
