My favorite dual-parallel mech currently is the raptor, and second the abaddon. The abaddon has slightly lower VD than the raptor at 1ohm, but I suspect it's reversed at lower resistances, since at 0.1ohms the raptor seems more agressive than the abaddon and also everything else, subjectively at least, and to confirm i'm gonna test it out soon, but haven't yet as I was affraid of frying the meter... I don't really understand how that can be i.e. above mentioned VD diffs, but nonetheless...

I have 2 castigadors, and while they are really great made(shenray's), then i'm not a fan of springs for negative contacts for longevity reasons... Also, mine are really strong(springs) and have loosened a little, but still it's a ..... to change cells because of it... You can get other castigador clones that aren't that strong though... Also on mine, the pin that holds the battery-door in, which needs to be taken out for cleaning/maintenance, was so freakin' hard fit, that I needed a hammer and nail to get out, and am now sanding down the pin to get a looser fit. The nikita is also a great dual-parallel mech. I have high hopes for the dos-equis(despite using springs), but I haven't tested it out yet, as I need to clean it first...

Anyway, you cannot go wrong with a raptor or an abaddon imho. The abaddon is a little wobbly with the button, but I don't mind much, as it works perfectly and fires every time or atleast when having adjusted the firing-pin a little further down, which doesn't matter because the rest of the button and spring is isolated out and the pin is only used to push a plate down that completes the circuit/fires...

The best vape i've currently had is a twisted-messes rda with dual 20g ka1's(the "draw" is amazing, which is big for me, as not a flavor chaser, using unflavored, but nic/density-chaser), on-top of my raptor... Ahhh, vaping nirvana... :) I have 7 dual-parallels, although 2 of them I have twice off... For some 20 bucks shipped, you cannot go wrong(ft/fc)... I'm talking clones and alu-raptor here, btw...

I started at 18mg, and am now at 3mg, because of the progressive change in more efficient equipment over the last 2 1/2 years.

Flavors where a nice novelty, but as it was because of the nic I vaped, and the need for inhaling something and TH, then I got tired of switching between different ADVs and flavors. They are good for some time, but then gets boring, or overpowering or simply looses the flavor(vapors-tongue)...

I read that some of the people which I respected(e.g. Kurt, our resident chemist, and Cyrus Vap etc.) was vaping unflavored, and then tried it out for myself and never looked back, about a little over a year ago.

Unflavored indeed isn't flavorless, but just a nice subtle taste which isn't overpowering, or you get sick off, but just nice and comfortable imho. Also, flavors are the most expensive in DIY these days + also the most uncertain ingredient of vaping health-wise...

I don't like the taste of PG, not because of allergies or anything, but because it tastes to me off sweet bitter alcohol, and slightly chemical, just like when tasting a little of it on your finger, whereas VG just tastes like mild honey or syrup, sweet and warm and nothing else... PG is good for brightening up e.g. fruit-flavored mixes, and although I didn't liked it in flavored juices either, then in unflavored it becomes unbearable imho...

I then vape 95/5 VG/water, 3mg nic. which is perfect in drippers imho. I still get a nice TH because of running pretty low builds in rda's... The 5% DW reduces the viscosity appropriately and also takes a little bit off the VGs sweetness. There is a difference in taste between vg, pg and nic, so with unflavored, it's important to use the best tasting ingredients imho. I've just tested between 6 different VGs I ordered to find if there where a better than what I used, and found a new favorite. The same i've done with nic before... In flavored mixes, I cannot tell a difference between taste of different VGs btw.

Sorry for the long "sales-talk", lol! :) (and for off-topic post, sorry...)

Which VG did you end up liking best? What about it was better than the others?

Sorry, my experience in VG only pertains to EU vendors, because shipping and customs is about tenfold the price minimum from the states i.e. 100+bucks in shipping alone, for a gallon VG.

All the VGs have the same base-character obviously(which is sweet and varm mellow nice unchemical taste, like mild honey or syrup), as it's the same compound, i.e. glycerol from vegetal sources. Just like nic, then even though the USP spec dictates 99% min in purity, and everyone i've ever seen have been 99.5%+, usually 99.8%, then there are leftovers during the hydrolosis of the veg-oils(and it's not only water left), and which can be tasted sometimes, if vaped unflavored and having a good pallet. Most of the VGs have very subtle differences or none detectable, but some stand out with slight notes that differ. Some have a slight sourishness blended with the sweetness and some seems a little sweeter than others, probably because of different amounts of absorbed water through atmosphere(VG is highly hygroscopic). Some are slightly "greasy" during the exhale(really hard to explain) and others feels more clean. 3 VGs stood out of the 6... One had a slight special taste to it which I cannot explain good or understand where comes from. I know it sounds stupid, but it reminds very slightly of slightly stale milk. I'm talking very slight and not the main character. Not the best imho... Another one, which I really loved, had slight floral notes, or something of the sort, and also which could resemble of maple syrup or forest honey.. Again, the main character was the same normal glycerol one, but there where just an extra touch, which had a really nice additional aroma imparted. I don't know but I suspect it was from palm, as palm-oil is said to have floral-notes. Ive never had palm-oil myself. Most VG sold in EU is from rapeseed, as many have gone away from palm because of deforestation issues. Lastly, another VG had a sweetness that was just the best i've ever had. Deep rich and intense. Of course VG is mild tasting, but I hope you know what I mean. It resembled a deeper dark honney/syrup instead of mild honney/syrup.

The stale milk one was veracura(denmark - mixed veg-oils) and the floral-notes one where inawera(poland, but made in sweden for the nestle food/beverage company) and the deep greater sweetness(not sweeter, but a much nicer sweetness) was pink-mule(spain, made by a small 100 year old family company; 'productos expres').

Again only tasteble when vaped unflavored, im sure, and also, i've myself have always been very sensitive to the tastes of food, and been very "picky", and so is also with eliquids and it's components. E.g. some state that PG tastes like nothing... Crazy to me lol :) Or that it's not sweet??? It's sweet bitter dry alchohol with chemical elements imho.

The 3 other VGs where classikool(uk - OK, but very slightly "greasy" on exhale, but better than lubrisolve), lubrisolve(uk - not the best, and very slight sour, but OK) and chemnovatic(poland, but unknown source - good - from rapeseed stated in COA).

I have another new VG coming in from UK to test in a few days + a new batch of alchem's nicselect nic to test again against my previously found EU favorite from chemnovatic(the stuff VapersTek in the states also uses)...
