3.3 watts on MAP Tank better than 6.8 watts with LR atty? How?

I just got my MAP tank (3.2ohm) and even though I haven't received my ProVari yet I thought I'd try it out with my old eGo. First, I tested the MAP tank with my multimeter just to confirm it was 3.2 ohms, and it was spot on. I know that my eGo only does 3.2v so I really wasn't expecting much of anything (3.2v with 3.2ohm atty is a measly 3.2 watts).

Well to my surprise this thing hits better than my 1.5 ohm LR 306s! That doesn't make any sense to me because with my 1.5 ohm atties I should be getting 6.8 watts. Anyone have a logical answer as to how this is possible?

EDIT: I should add that this is my first experience with the CE2. I have some normal 3.2 CE2 XL's that I haven't tried yet. I'm kind of curious how well those work now.

I know. This really has me scratching my head. I just filled a 3.2 ohm CE2 Clearomizer to see if it would hit the same but it doesn't smell or taste anything like my flavor so I don't even want to inhale it right now.

Vaping at 3.2 watts with this thing is better than anything! I wish I could make a video so you guys could see how much this thing is putting out compared to my other atties. It just doesn't make any sense. I can't imagine how this thing works above 3.2v.

I'm finding the same as mwa with the CE2. Higher ohms produce the same warmth at the the same voltage in comparison. I get basically the same warmth from a 2.8ohm CE2 at 3.7v = 4.9w as I do a 2.4ohm atty at 4.2v = 7.3w. The numbers don't convey the outcome. Can't explain it, must have something to do with the design.

The questioning should stop with the Provari once you use it. It's a great unit that doesn't matter what atty/carto you use with it, you'll find the sweet spot.

Lol! This seriously has me questioning the purchase of my ProVari. I mean I'm sure it will be an awesome unit but if this keeps working like it is I think I could have gone without one.

The Provari is well worth it. I have been vaping on a MAP-Tank every since i got it and i'm inlove. A 2.8ohm tank but shows as 3.0ohm on provari at 4.5-5.0 volts is good for me and hits the spot
