I have a MAP tank that I got off another forum member it is at 2.4 ohm now.. Last night I ordered the replacement 3.2 ohm CE2 for it.. My question is will the CE2 at 3.2 ohm hold up at 6 volt vaping?? I have a prodigy V3.1 right now but I am contemplating on getting a Pro-Vari...

Hey Bow...I just got my Pro-Vari today and I must say it is the best PV I have ever had. I have some 510 megas, a Provape-1 and 3 vGo's and the ability to dial in the exact voltage you want is the best. I love the atomizer ohm check also...it tells you exactly what ohms your running and then that allows you to dial in the exact performance you want. You can of course do the same thing with a multimeter and any VV PV but with the Pro-Vari it is all in the unit.

Combine this with the MAP tank and it is the best vape ever

Best purchase ever for me!!:toast:

Just my :2c:

I had a whole post on this somewhere. You gotta use the 3.2ohm, there is no chain vaping at six volts with these. I prefer to just stay with the blank 3.0ohm cartomizers at six volts, the ce2 stuff does work better at 3.7 and 5 volts. They are not so hot at 6 (actually that is the problem) hot and burnt and you have to do too much tipping and waiting between hits and yep, you have to take shorter hits.

I got a custom five volt chuck that I can vape at 5V or 3.7. I had the top endcap specially tooled so I didn't need an extention and a voltage regulator put in. Once I got it, I really enjoyed using my maps much more.

ETA: To post a picture. You can't tell too much from it but that is pink mossy oak! :)

Well, to make a long story short, my MAP tank CE2 lasted me two days at 6 volts.. I was getting ready to head to bed last night, I took a draw waited a few seconds to cool down the went to take another and nothing.. I must have burnt the coil out of it.. My tank is half full, so later today I will empty it, and get the CE2 changed.. Looks like I might be ordering that Pro Vari sooner than I thought....

I really like 6 volt vaping, but it is starting to cost me to much money in fried parts.. The only thing that I have found that can stand up is BE112 atty's.. This is great for when I am home, but when I am working I am just to busy to be dripping all day long.. Now I just have to convince my wife that I NEED that Pro Vari!!

I bounce back and forth but still really like six volts myself. Just order a box of the boge cartos from Bruce, they are on sale. Trick, never let them dry out, pop on a drip tip and keep topping them off. One carto will last me a month easy and that is at six volts. I never could keep a regular atty from frying and I don't have the patience for them.

I use Boge 510 SR cartos during the day.. I have to top the off several times a day to keep them from drying out.. That is why I went with a MAP tank, just fill it no fuss no muss.. Only problem is 6 volts is to much for them... I wish they made a high resistance CE2 for them in the 3.6 ohm range...Oh well just might brake down and order that Pro Vari by the end of the weekend...
