I'm enjoying my 3.7 eGo, Spade, etc. But I'm still smoking the occasional analogs. Many on this board have advised me to pump it up to a 5/6 volt mod. i don't want to carry around a small machine that doesn't look or feel like a standard e-cig. So many I've looked at seem so large, cumbersome and ugly. Is there a slender, girly, 5-volt out there somewhere?

Check out this thread:

You'll note that the 3.7v on the eGo doesn't get you the full 3.7v. But there are many mods that will do that. The Protege is about the same diameter as the eGo and just a bit longer. The difference in the peak voltage that you get with the 14500 battery in the Protege, Bartleby, etc. is considerably better and lasts longer than the eGo/tornado. I have both the Tornado and the Protege. I also have a 5V Bartleby and imo and experience, the atomizers needed for the 5volt - either 901 or an HV 510 reduce the vapor to where the 3.7 with a Joye 510 atty is almost as good without the risk of burning it out. And the Bartleby 5V isn't 'slim' - it's a box style. The other 5 and 6 volt mods are not as slim as the Protege.

Another factor, of course, would be the nic level of your eliquid. For me, once I moved to the true 3.7v mods, even though I quit cigs after getting a 510 kit, I was able to get off 'pacifier mode' with the Bartleby and the Protege, even though I didn't change my nic level, simply by getting more vapor, imo. But you might try upping your nic level with the eGo and see if that does it before investing in a mod.
