3.7ml dripper bottles on the cheap!

Someone has probably posted this, but I couldn't find it so I thought I would share.

Walgreens (and probably CVS) has some super small bottles of breath drops. They're normally right next to the toothpaste. Easy to open, flush out, and fill with your favorite juice for an "on the go" kind of scenario. Give em a shot!

Hope someone finds this useful! =]

US Plastics: 19 cents for 3ml bottles (white, clear, or black), 23 cents for 6ml or 10ml, 15ml is 28 cents for white and clear, 34 cents for black. I just made an order from them, have it up on another tab. Of course, shipping costs will hurt you if you don't order a significant number. I think minimum shipping cost is around $5.

You can get empty bottles that are much safer to use... I would be too worried that it would contaminate the liquid and you'd end up inhaling something that you shouldn't. Totally Liquid has some really nice glass dripper bottles (as well as the regular plastic) that I'm now in love with, you should check those out.

They won't ship to Canada without jumping through some hoops first. Quite a shame because I need to order a lot of bottles and every price I've found that will ship to Canada has been ridiculously over priced. Does anyone know a supplier that will ship to Canada or is from Canada that is reasonably price like US Plastics? Thanks in advance.

Find someone you know in the US to be your beard. It's not like little plastic bottles are an export-permit item. Used to be a lot of places you could have something shipped to and then forwarded, but the russian credit-card scams drive them out of business.

US Plastics is great because you don't have to buy a minimum. In one swoop you can stock up on a ton of different sizes. My personal preference is the 6ml. It's just the perfect size. Not too big not too small. I pick three flavors every morning before I go off to work to stick in my pocket.

I also found 3ml bottle at Big Lots. If you look where the candy aisle is they have liquid sour candy in a three pack for $1.00. Like someone else posted it's just around the corner (for me) and no shipping necessary. And liquid candy is easier to wash out than in some other bottles. I use them for experimental DIY and giving out samples to co-workers (hey, try this!).

I'm currently stockpiling 10ml bottles since heaven-gifts and healthcabin now sells 10ml juice. It gives me a chance to sample new flavors and the bottles are crystal clear, not just opaque.

P.S. It's the 30ml bottles I'm stockpiling I don't have much use for! Maybe we need to have a contest for the most creative use of 30ml bottles!

Does anyone know how thin a syringe needle has to be to get into one of the Walgreen's bottles? Or if there's a way to remove the top? I bought a 3-pack (rinsed them thoroughly), and AFAICS it's a one-piece design. I can fit an ultra-thin plastic pipette down the hole (I have to grab it right near the tip, or it just bends), but I'd like to be able to fill one in one step without going back and forth with the tiny pipette.

Brachinus,

The dripper on mine come off. I thought it was a one piece too at first, then I figured it out. All I had to do was grab the tip and kind of push it to one side. A gap opens up that I had to get my thumbnail into, and then I could pull the top right off. I'll post pics if you need em!
