I didn't have much money so i went out and bought some that was cheap but that i know would work good. So i went to lowes and got some devcon high strength 5 minute epoxy. It was the syringe type.
Folks often mention JB Weld, but it has been formulated for use on metal. It also contains iron. Sandable and drillable doesn't matter to us. We need good adhesion to plastic (for box mods). JB Kwik, and most 5 min types, have half the tensile strength.
For our uses an epoxy formulated for plastics might be the best choice.
I wonder how long my super glue will hold up. Still going strong at a week, but I have been very careful not to try and overtighten the connector or let any juice leak into it.
