3.7v vs higher voltage

I bought a Silver Bullet 1 month ago and have been using it religiously as my main PV. I am a bigger guy so size doesn't bother me at all. I love the consistancy and amount of vapor! Anyway, I have been seeing more and more Buzz's and buzz like AV's (Adjustable Voltage) and am curious to know what the benefit is to this? Any help/suggestions/input would be greatly appreciated. Am just seeing if it is worth the so called upgrade to one or not over the silver bullet.
