Hey all. I just got a vap from Magic Puffer and it's ok. I'm sucking on this thing all day for dear life but I haven't had a cigarette for 3 days so I guess I'm ok. Only thing is I'm charging this thing every couple of hours and changing the cartridge every couple of hours and it's getting annoying. I search google for electronic cigarettes and they all look the same, but I know there must be some somewhere that will last me longer... maybe all day?

anyway, a lead to a better way would be nice but if no responses then I hope you all have a great day.

Hey there! Glad to see you and welcome to ECF. Ok here's the deal. I've heard mixed reviews on the Magic Puffer. Never used one myself so I can't really comment. In any case. I'd still recommend a tried-and-true first time setup like a 510 rig such as the Joye 510 or maybe the KR808 (I use a Vapor King from vaporforlife.com - I love it). I have some regular and XL batteries. The regs last me about 3 hours or so and the XLs around 5. Just get a PCC (Personal Charging Case) and a USB or wall charger, some extra batties, and yur set. Now, if ya want more batt life, you'll need to move to another type of PV such as eGo, T-Rex, PigCig, Inferno, Leo, etc. These offer much longer battery life (e.g. 8-15 hours) but don't look like a real cigarette. I only have the VaporKing now but am going to buy a nice, big, fat battery model to add to my stable. Another thing is to make sure your getting the right nicotine content in your cartomizers or e-juice. I was a 1 PAD (pack a day) smoker and I started with 18mg. Seems to work fine for me. The less mg of nic you have in yur cartos n juice...the more you will need to vape...and the more battery life will be used up. So, more mg of nicotine might help you to. You'll vape less since yur getting enuff nicotine. Anyhoo....that's my penny's worth to help get you started. Keep browsing this forum and asking questions. There's a TON of help here. Good luck and vape on!

Hey my pleasure! Just keep in mind that the Joye 510 and KR808 are "slim" type PVs. They look like an analog. The big battery solutions don't. Now, you can use 501 and 808 cartos in some of the big batt options too. The PigCig is a very nice unit and is really a big batt design for using the 808 cartos. Some of the others I mentioned will use the 510s. Anyway...you can't go wrong with any of these units but if battery life is a big deal to you and you don't mind your e-cig not looking like an analog...I'd go with one of the big batt models. Might check out the Precise from Super-T. A bit pricey but you get what you pay for...an oustanding PV that looks really badass. Anyhoo...just suggestions. There are lots of options out there. The main thing is...do your own research and ask questions here on ECF. You can also just browse all the forums here and you'll get more info than you can handle on any topic you can image regarding e-cigs. YouTube is good too to check out some reviews on various PVs B4 you buy. Good luck!

Oh and yur post is not too short. No problem there.

Hi Budsalinger,
Sorry I could not post more on my first message to you. I wanted you to just to hang on for a minute because people would be popping in to help you. I see several posts here. Did you get the help you wanted? I hope so.

I don't know diddly about the Magic Puffer. I started with 510's, went to the Buzz, use Hello 016's and eGo 650mah & 900mah. The 510 has a short battery life. I do understand what you are saying about the short battery life of your Magic Puffer. But the Buzz and the rest of the batteries I mentioned have great battery life. The reason I selected the way I did was because my 510 atomizers, cartomizers, cartridges, etc all work on each unit. I wanted continuity.

I would estimate that 90% of the people who purchase their first e-cig, discover or wish they had purchased something else. That is ok. At least they have experienced vaping and they know there is an option to smoking. Something good comes out of it, even If it is Not the best e-cig in the world. Who cares? It got the job done, right? I was in that 90% so I know what I'm talking about - LOL.

Welcome to the Forum. Glad you found us. I know you will discover the PV that makes you happy. There are so many great models and some super mods. If you are going to shop around, I suggest you shop around with the suppliers found here on ECF forum. The suppliers here have a good reputation and the members here can help you if you have questions or concerns.

Happy Vaping,
Paula

Great job, the 1st few days are a pain but sticking with it is the best idea. my advice is the eGo .thats what i got for advice on battery power and now i got no battery problems, i was chasing batteries all day! today the wife and i mark 2 weeks and a day analog free! tried a few types of flavors but the camal seems to be my favorite by far,not sure why as it doesn't taste anything like the crappy butts i been smoking for the past 20+ years.Good luck and your in the right place for advice and success stories.
I am deeply greatful for the people here and the advice/support,2 weeks dont sound like a lot but wow the difference i feel is incredible.for instance, one problem i am now sure of that i had was heart burn,i just gave away my tums :) Happy Vaping!
