I'm not quite sure I see the significance. There is a difference between swilling something in one's mouth or even swallowing it and heating it and inhaling said substance...

As a mother, I can say..some kids might swallow it. Also, when a child loses a tooth it often bleeds, which makes for possibility of contact with the ingredients.

Even just the fact that ingestion is possible..it is directed at TODDLERS. It's okay for toddlers but worth banning ecigs?

I'd point that out to Casaa

Ever wonder why people with angina place their nitro pill under their tongue. It's the fastest route to the blood stream. Swilling something in your mouth is a straight shot to the blood stream. Agree its not the lungs but have to believe if the ingredients were that harmful we wouldn't see them in toddlers mouthes headed for their blood (that passes through the lungs) and heart. Just a thought :)

Do toddlers heat it and inhale it?

Guess no one has heard of popcorn lung...

Oddly, it would seem, reading through the pages and pages of possible and known side effects associated with pretty much every type of medication in existence- even asthma inhalers, just because somethig is prescribed by a doctor, doesn't mean it is safe. Lesser of 2 evils...
