There are 3 basic shapes for our devices plus a range of sizes. I have also seen some devices shaped totally bizarre like heads and toilets 
The materials making them range from plastic to different types of metal or wood. Also the device can be auto or manual and VV or just straight mechanical. Some can actually be maintained to last forever with the purchase of parts. The main one i am thinking of is the REO. Built to last and is on my list for next month.
For me a bottom fed box mod is the most efficient and easy way to vape. I like the looks and the feel of it in my hand. I also like that now i can use atty's. Took me a year to try out but now I know.
So what is your preference or do you just like them all the same. As for me at this point in time i am using only my bottom feeder boxes! The VmodXL and its little brother Vmod are what i am using now.
