you know the source doesn't know what they talking about when they use the word "smoking"
but it is still bad what happened to them that's understandable but they can't try to blame this on electronic cigarettes if they do/did there 100% wrong!

I live about a half mile from the school. Don't know what they got into, but it doesn't sound like a normal e-cig to me.
Passed out and couldn't breathe? I have no idea what would cause that.

Exactly what I was going to say. If they smoked them, they went about it all wrong.
I'd like to know which device it was as well. I'd bet it was a closed system device. We will likely never know, so that BT and BP won't loose their lobbying edge.
So, they dropped right to the ground after hitting it. And after watching the first one fold up, the next two went ahead and took a hit? It's good to see we have future Einstein's in training! 
More likely than not, they were vaping something sold in a "smoke" shop that is SUPPOSED to have mind altering effects. New synthetics are created every day to get around current drug laws. Again, just because they used a vaporizer, that doesn't mean it was an e-cig. Some will argue that this is evidence that the industry needs regulation, because "we don't know what's in there" or "they can put anything in there" but what those people fail to realize is, regulating the industry will not stop this, because things like this are by definition OUTSIDE of the industry.
I find that it is strange that every time there is a claim that ecigs caused harm to someone there is so little proof out in the wild to support the claim. In this case the one in the OP is the only instance of the report I have been able to find.
