Hi all - I'll be three weeks off the analogs tomorrow and just wanted to say thanks to everyone who has replied to any questions I've asked or given me their time and advice. I can honestly attribute my success to the support and help from the forums and the people on ECF (and my Riva 510 of course)

Many many thanks and much love!

Kris

I tell you what, I got my first kit about 2 months ago and cheated by smoking analogs. It was the juice that the ecig came with. After purchasing my new juices I am able to say as well smoke free, 100% smoke free. I feel great and the ecig community had given me the support and advice needed to stay smoke free. Thanks ECF community.

Thanks all, its actually been fun doing this and its not like giving up smoking so much as just doing someting better :)

It's about time for you to welcome your taste buds back!
ha ha they are kicking - but my sense of smell has come back like mental! its weird how you don't realise its gone until it comes back!

I can say though that the support from the ECF community has made such a difference - I dont think I could/would have done it without you so if anyone ends up in the south west of England anytime soon - the first rounds on me! :)

Ha ha you'd be more than welcome Del! nothing wrong with a bit of scrumpy :)

As for vaping? it is good. . . its actually amazing! - I didn't think I'd ever give up smoking even though I didnt want to smoke I did in lots of ways enjoy it (after a meal/having a drink etc) Now I don't actually want to smoke at all - I genuinely prefer vaping - however I have read that the 3-4 weeks can be tough as all the c rap leaves your system around this time so I have stocked up on a variety of strengths and flavours of juice in case it gets rough.

:)

Smart thinking Kris..........Stock up.

I have had a few moments where i doubted myself. It had been so ...so easy for the first two weeks. Then i found it tough for 2 days.
Surprising thing for me though. Was when someone came round my house and asked me how long i'd been without a cigarette. I said "3 weeks" my wife corrected me and said "4 weeks" when it had actually been 5 weeks. It's 6 weeks for me today. Time is flying. And i have to think hard as to when exactly i had my last cigarette. I obviously don't miss them.

You're right to be cautious. Complacency is the enemy. But you are doing real well buddy. Keep it going.

My wife has been keeping a log of how many days its been on the kitchen notice board ha ha she's over the moon that I dont smell of smoke anymore.
