30ML/8MG juice but I need 6MG

I have some flavors I bought from a vendor the other day in 30ML size (they only offer 8MG for the lowest nic) and I need to add some 0MG juice of the same flavor to the 30ML bottles (using a larger empty bottle) to make 6MG out of the whole 30ML batch. How much of the 0MG juice (same flavor) do I need to add to the 30ML 8MG batch? I'm not very good at figuring out this stuff, a friend said 10ML but I wanted to double check as it seemed like too much (I hope she's not reading this.

Your friend is correct.

Think of it this way. By adding 10 mls, you'll now have 40 mls total. You HAD 8mg/ml, so you had 240 mg.s overall. Now that same 240mg / 40 mls = 6 mg/ml

A simple ratio problem would figure that out. 30/6 = x/8
x=40
40-30=10

well 6mg of 8mg would be 3/4ths of the bottle full of your nic liquid.
so 30 divided by 4 would give you 7.5
that would be a 4th so remove 7.5 ml from your bottle with nic and add 7.5ml of 0nic, and you will have 6mg nic
