Great job. DH and I are going on two months. I still have an occasional analog; very rarely. (I used to smoke 2.5 - 3 packs of American Spirit Organics a day.) We only have one ashtray out in the house that is rarely used. Last night I was sitting in my recliner and kept smelling a stale tobacco smell; not constantly but every once in a while. I actually asked DH if he had lit one up more than once. He had not. Then I realized the smell was coming from my clothes from having one analog, hours earlier, outside. When my sleeved arm passed by my nose I smelled the odor on the sleeve. Gross.

This might sound kind of gross and could venture into the TMI arena, but I have noticed that my own personal body oder is more pronounced after quitting.
The logical reason would be that my sense of smell is returning, or that there is some kind of flushing out or "cleansing" process going on, but it didn't seem to start until after a couple of weeks of stopping smoking.
It's quite odd.

My guess would be you're smelling things again. But it could be both. Try smelling someone who smokes now and yuck! Makes me wonder why all over again. Anyway, congrats to you for making it a month, & of course I'd be amiss if I didn't agree with you about how easy it is...nothing else ever came close. I'm not too far from 3 mos. without an analog now.
