The ones that leaked were the old ego-visions. The difference is the tip and that silicon ring that covers the coils, on the ego-visions it didn't touch the sides at all. These are practically glued to the sides (or so it seems). You see how the CE 4's kinda cone in on the top? The 312's are a straight cylinder and the tip is coned.

Ahhh, I see that now. I found a different site with more pictures. My juice would kill it.

ETA: You gotta love the wholesale Chinese sites "...High performance and environment protection glass fiber cotton, so no tar." No tar?

Ack the one that I thought got better by tipping is back to its oldself again. Dry burnt taste that is just nasty. I'm gonna empty the juice into a small container and then rinse it out I guess. Maybe a dry burn to help it?

I've found dry burns make it worse, but I think I'm in the minority. I just ditched one tonight...bye bye little friend, you were fun while you lasted.

Well maybe the good people at backwoods will be able to help me out. I'm going to put it out of commission for now and maybe do a rinse before I turn it into a science project lol. I still have one good one that seems to be working great. I wonder if its the juice, cause the other juice is 70% vg and 30% pg and the juice in the crappy one is 30% vg and 70% pg. Maybe the extra thickness is sticking onto the wicks better.

As I said, they're fincky; also mass produced, so QC is iffy. Some of mine are better than others. In fact, I recently got some "Sunrises," which are clones of Stardusts (the gotvapes branded CE4s) and they worked better! But going back to Get Real thinking... I've heard the price of a pack of tobacco cigs in NYC is outrageous. At $2.99 you could buy bunches of these: http://www.smokerevolt.com/ce4s

Ok so I pulled that silicon cap off but I'm not sure what I'm looking at. It seemed the silicon was getting a little burnt, probably touching the wick. My question now is, there any point to leaving that cap on? Besides flooding the chamber that is. Is the whole thing just so that a little juice can touch the wick and that is why its there? Any harm done if it touches the coils? I dont want to put that silicon cap on too tight now.

well it does seem to work a hell of a lot better now and no more burnt rubber taste... just burnt taste if I don't do the little twirl. I think I'll try to trim off the silicone, cap the middle chamber and leave the wicks more exposed. I'm just worried about the juice hitting the coils but I assume thats fine because thats what dripping is right?

I think the concern would be flooding, but if it works, it works.
