I sent this to Eric via email, but it occurred to me that I should make my appreciation for Eric Gormly a little more public. There are, after all, new vapers coming on daily. I have zero doubt that I am but one of an-ever-growing-number of people who feel the same way. Therefore...
Note: Both Blu & V2 were relatively short-lived experiments, thanks in part (again) to Eric's inventory and extraordinary customer service. But they did get the ball rolling, and deserve due-credit for that. But if left only to those devices, I'd probably be tokin' on a Marlboro today.

One year ago, yesterday, at 8:00pm, I smoked my last cig. One year ago just about RIGHT NOW, Sherry got taken away in an ambulance, for probably the 20th time during 2011. Twas quite a bad year. I got her dog, Jordan, settled (takes awhile in times like that), then headed up to the hospital; with nothing but a couple of Blu disposables in tow. And I did not smoke a single cig - even in that situation.
That night, sitting next to her hospital bed, with my XOOM on my lap, I placed my first order with V2.
The rest, as they say, is history. As is tobacco in my life.
You, Mr. Gormly, have played a VERY significant role in this transition. It's safe to say that you were (easily!) the single biggest contributor to my ultimate success. Even in the midst of a ridiculous growth-spurt, and balancing a family and day job on top, you were always there when I needed you. For that, I am eternally grateful. And I continue to sing your praises to anyone that asks. I always will.
Thank you, Eric. And know that the good you do for so-damn-many of us will never be forgotten.
Sincerely,
Dave
