I bought this model VF 40W Style Temperature Control Variable Wattage Mod by Kangxin - Black, 1~40W, 2 x 18650, Micro USB Charger, Upgraded Version - 3FVape and I have been trying to get a answer from them on the size of the center pin as the one they used is too short for for almost every atty I have and my V4 kayfun. No matter what add I install the center screw has to be all the way out to last thread. I seen Fat Daddy Vapes has Positive center pins in 3 sizes M2.5 M3 and M4 and a simple fix would be the just get a longer center pin the heads are much thicker on the FDV pins too. I have no idea why they made the hole on the 510 connector so dang deep I realize that folk want to have a flush mount but. Or my next option would be to just buy a FDV 510 connector and change it out but the longer center pin would sure be the easier and faster. I just would not know which model of the FDV 510's would be the best I would like to have a threaded center pin as with temp sensing you need a very solid connection much more so than with kanthal.

I just did a upgrade to my Hana clone dna 30 with the low profile copper from FDV but it was a solid no adjustment pin, but it works on everything I have put on it so far. On my VF 40 I think I want to have the same type connector as it came with that has the adjustable positive center pin not spring loaded. so if anyone would know the thread size of the 510 center pin it would be a great help to me of if any one else has done this to fix the problem what they used. You would think making a 510 connector that works would not be so hard. it seems every time I turn around I am back on the FAT DADDY VAPES site to fix another mod with a lousy 510 connector

That is weird. I have the exact same model and I struggle to get anything to sit flush even with the screw all the way in!

Sounds about right I wonder if they made the head thicker and when did you get your VF and did you get it from 3Fvapor? My centerpin has like no head to it that was why I thought to check out some of the center pins that Fat Daddy sells I see he has 2.5m 3m and 4m. The M2.5X6mm with a 2mm thick head (8mm total length) sounds about right. I wrote to 3Fvapor and asked if they could find out the size of the center pin for me but its been like a week and they have not got back to me. If anyone know what size the 510 cent pin is atty side not battery side.

But what caught my eye was 2mm thick head the one on mine is almost not there, very thin head on the atty side center pin and for me even just 1 more mm would make the difference as I can get my Kayfun V4 on and my Orchid V6 and Venturi Dripper I picked up off angelcigs as it was supposed to be flavor chaser. Anyway but the deal is I have to screw the center pin all the way out and try to just give it a 1/4 turn to hold it in place to get connection. I for right now am using the Kanger Subtank on it with the spring loaded pin on the atty because that will get a connection but even with that long spring loaded center pin I still have to back out the center pin on my VF 2 to 3 turns. I got my VF about the time they got them in 1 month ago or so and I am sure there is gotta be some folks out that bought some of the first runs like me and are having the same problem Now I should say I got the full copper 510 with the threaded center pin they call it the upgraded with the USB charge port. I know they said you can get Brass or copper that it was random. I was wondering if they a difference even just from the brass and the coppers with the threaded 510 center pin.

I really like the solid copper on mine if the center pin was just that little bit longer as nothing make the DNA 40 go bat sh*t Crazie faster then a funky connection at the 510. I would so rather get a bit longer pin as that would not void my warranty as well putting a Fat Daddy 510 would void the warranty

Did you get the brass 510 on it or the copper It could be possible that used a different 510 connecter even when it was just a change from brass to copper
