Hello Friends ;

I just broke my 3ml glass. I looked everywhere but couldn't find a replacement glass. On the website it's 29 euros shipping and that's much. Is there a place you can recommend? Thank you.

Look up for the dimensions of the glass and search using dimensions.

Assuming you can’t find what you want, the move would be get one of those cheap Chinese vernier calipers from the hardware store (assuming you don’t already have something accurate to a tenth of a mm) they claim thousandths. I don’t trust them that far. I’ll trust them to tenths though. They call them “micrometers” because they read to thousandths. There is a reason they’re shaped like verniers though: they’re actually verniers.
Measure the interior and exterior diameter of your tank attachment as well as the length you need. All this should be gettable from the atty. once you have that you can order it as a piece of Pyrex tube of X dimension, rather than as a vape tank glass. Might even be cheaper that way. It’ll be some thing like “Pyrex Z mm tube section with flame burnished edges diamrter X cm, length Y cm.” Or suchlike.

Yes the vernier will cost $20. There is an up side though. When the dust settles you can measure things.

    Thank you for the detailed explanation. I have searched dozens of sites and everywhere it is out of stock. I think I will try to do the operations you mentioned . My talent in handcrafts is close to -0- , I hope I can do it :)

    the rook a single version I will contact the seller for dimensions and see if they will respond.
    Is this the website you bought the Rook from and where you found the replacement glass? If it is...it states the glass is 3.5mL capacity for the full size ROOK, not 3mL.

    It seems strange that the RTA was €249,00 and the manufacturer didn't even include a spare replacement glass for it! Also, they only have 1 replacement glass available for purchase now, so you couldn't even save some $$ by buying a few and having them shipped together for the €29,00 ! Geez! Purchasing several for €5,00 each, when buying the RTA...seems like the only way their customers could hope to have them when needed and save at least a little bit of money!

    The only other website I've found that carries them, but currently have none in stock, is this one below. You may want to contact them to find out if they are going to be available later.

    Yes, it is true as you said, it is 3.5ml. I contacted them and they told me that I could order 1 piece of glass. I cannot buy 2 pieces in one order. Very smart company! that doesn't put the replacement glass in a box and doesn't sell 2 glasses in one order. It cost 269.00 euros to bring it to the USA, I regret every cent I paid. Thank you for the address you gave, I sent an e-mail to them as well. 3fva.com and 2fdea.com are also out of stock, I will ask them as well, thanks for your support. ❤️

    No handicrafts required. THEYRE calipers and they usually have a measurement rod on the bottom for sticking into things and measuring the thickness of stuff on tables. If you want to do handicrafts and you have an acetylene torch you can actually make one. Pyrex isn’t like other glass. It’s the stuff you see people making animals out of at fairs.
    As it is you just use the thing I’ve to measure it and have it done. You can even get colored bubble glass this way though it costs more.

    Oh! One more thing regarding those Chinese verniers. You want digital! And one with a case. The analog ones can be broken (fairly easily). It’s much harder with the digital ones though I can attest ( :/ )that sitting on one will do it unless they're in a case.

    What an amazing ripoff!! Did you ask, and did they at least tell you, the measurements of the replacement glass you'd need? There are other 3.5mL replacement glass tubes available at other vendors, including ones in the US, but you'd need the exact specs of the 1 for the Rook.

    I have a feeling it’s a backwards way of saying “we don’t actually do replacement glass we just sell boxes full of things and the computer screen doesn’t say we have a box full of that”. [for a visual you may now imagine a zitty teen with a vacant shell shocked look to their eyes more commonly exhibited by TV watchers at 4am picking their nose in front of a computer screen] If they actually HAVE boxed replacement glass but just won’t sell it to you that’s a different thing and I concur with @JCinFLA . Wow! Either way you can end-run them with the vernier.

    Actually yes I asked, they still haven't responded to my 2nd emails. I'm waiting for an answer.

    I'm waiting for them to send me the dimensions, then I'll have it made by a glassworker in Houston, this was my quickest solution.
